12 Team SF TE Prem
QBs: Wilson, Carr, Darnold
RBs: JT, Mixon, Hunt
WRs: Diggs, AJB, AROB, Robby Anderson
Looking to add rb depth (have Barkley dobbins ceh and penny)
Get: josh jacobs
SF, then don’t because you’ll get an RB at 8 with a better outlook. Single QB throw a name at 1.08 (waddle) and decide. Josh Jacob’s is a good player still but I don’t feel that you need him.
Here’s an easy one. I’m in a rebuild. Sold off pretty much all my assets last year and now I’ve got the 1.01, the 1.05, the 1.22, 1.23, and 2.01. League is a 24 person league with 8 offensive starters (1 QB, 1 TE, 1 RB 2 WR, 3 flex). I have Andy Dalton and Drew Lock at QB. At RB I have a bunch of backups and JRob. My “studs” at WR are Gage, Lazard and Bourne. Things are looking pretty sparse. We have 10 IDP starters (2 CB, 2 LB, 2 DE/DT, 4 flex) and my defense is as bad as my offense.
Format doesn’t matter that much for my question. I’m thinking of selling the 1.01. What have people got for the 1.01? What should I expect in return?
Man, I want to help you. But honestly that league setup is so far outside what I’ve played, idk if I can. You need to really take a ground up approach though and I think your best bet is to stay put and take chase since he has the longest perceived shelf life of the top of the draft. Gotta be looking multiple years out and take guys that are gonna last. If you do trade it I wouldn’t touch anyone over 23 a RB and 24 at WR. I think you can wait and grab a QB later in the rebuild. JRob looks bleak for this year, but hold Pat and see what happens 2 years down the road. People saw what he did and there’s a non zero chance he has a committe role where you can play him yet to come
That’s why I want to move back. I think I can get a stud who plays for years at WR instead of getting a RB who might only play for 3-4 years in Najee Harris. Even first round RBs are is such a risk and it seems like WRs have longer horizons.
1QB .5 ppr 12 team
Give Zeke 2.10
I think this may get done. But he may try to argue his way up to my 2.01 instead. He also has 2.08, I have 3.01, 3.03 to play with among other late picks, my firsts are off the table I think barring a big add from him. Where do I dig my feet in? Is Zeke + 2.01 too much?
Appreciate the... help?
Give: Lamb, Ertz, 22 1st
Get: Swift and Fant
Id be hesitant to trade lamb, but this deal is certainly fair.
Dynasty league. I have decent RB/WR depth. Don’t have great QB depth but I have Stafford (super flex league).
Best on the board for rookie draft are Smith, Waddle and Javante Williams. Mac Jones is the only 1st round QB available.
I own Melvin gordon.
I’m leaning Smith due to WR longevity and then Williams. I’d love to get a QB but Mac feels like a reach.
I don’t love the Miami situation for Waddle.
I wouldn’t reach for Mac. I’d either solidify Denver backfield or grab one of those receivers. I personally like waddle a lot. Connection with Tua and Fuller is only on a 1 year
10 team Half PPR Superflex .5 TE Premium
I have Wentz, Tua, Baker and M. Jones at QB
My top RBs are Swift, Dobbins and Mixon
My Top Receivers are Adams, AJ Brown, Waller, Diontae and Chase
Do I look to upgrade my QBs or is this fine to go into the season with?
You can survive with a strong rest of your roster, but if you start the season with a couple wins I would personally take a run at an older cheaper QB to really compete this year. Ryan or Brady depending on who owns them could be gotten for future capital
Ok thank you
10 team superflex ppr
give - David Montgomery
get - D.J. Moore, 2022 2nd and a 2023 3rd
I traded Monty for dj Moore straight up and was happy to do it
DJ moore >>> monty. Plus a few free late picks is a smash
I would do this trade
12 team ppr superflex, TE premium
Give- Lamar Jackson, Godwin and Irv Smith
Get- Josh Allen, Diggs and Jonnu
My QB- Mahomes and Winston
RB- Henry, Dobbins and Carson
WR- Tyreek, Justin Jefferson, Curtis Samuel and Terrace Marshall
TE- Pitts, Hooper and Kmet
Definitely do this trade
I would do that trade.
12 team ppr.
Chase claypool for Kareem hunt?
Stronger in wr than running back
The uncertainty around Hunt is lowering his value a lot. He is still relatively young and very talented. If you have enough other WRs I would do it
I wouldn’t. I just don’t like targeting a guy with an unclear workload when giving up an ascending young wr who could be a cornerstone
I'm trying to move Dalvin Cook and get back D'Andre Swift. Do you guys think this is a fair trade?
1 QB .5ppr
I Give: Dalvin Cook
I Get: D'Andre Swift & 2022 1st.
Pretty good for dumping dalvin. If that pick ends up top 5 you’re going to be sitting pretty next yr
I think that is a good trade if you want to move Dalvin.
12 Team PPR, 1QB, 1.5 TE Premium
A: Cole Kmet
B: 2022 2nd
If your tight ends are weak, then keep kmet. If you have 1-2 guys who are more likely to break out, then take it
I‘ve got Pitts and Goedert so i think i‘ll take it
I’d take Kmet for that
Depends on your depth at each position, but I would think you could get more than Monty & 2nd. Monty’s unlikely to have the same season as las year.
1qb ppr lg
Would you trade Justin Jefferson for any of the following:
Davante Adams/1.4 rookie pick
Or Jefferson 2.1 rookie pick for
Aiyuk/1.2 rookie pick
Yeah man I think both of those are solid trades, with value that close id just run with who you most enjoy to watch
Hey guys bit of a banger startup trade here,
12 team, 0.5ppr (WR/TE full ppr) 1qb, startup this season
New to dynasty but learning a lot about trading right now, not too sold on anyone at the 2.04 and like the idea of picking four times in rounds 5 and 6, hit accept or am i getting ripped off??? thanks fam one love
It looks like you are trading with the guy that has picks 12 and 13, giving him pick 16, as well. That should give him a very solid start to his draft when he gets picks picks 36 and 37, too. Starting out with 5 studs means the 2022 1st you get will be a very late 1st. You get a couple extra solid players at picks 60 and 61, but give up a stud at 16, meaning you aren't likely to be competitive this year. Next year you will have an early to mid 1st on your own, and a late 1st that won't likely be equal to the player you give up with pick 16 this year.
Bottom line, not a recommended trade.
Agree with everything you said. Great assessment!
Keep the 2.04. The start-up draft is the most important. Get that Top 16 guy.
Look at the players at early 2 vs 5/6 rounds. Off the top of my head...I'm keeping the 2.04. I'd want at least two of the 3/4/5
I’d accept that in a heartbeat. I don’t think there is much downside to that. Trading your 2 into a 1 for next year isn’t a bad thing if you are new to dynasty. In this way, you can wait until next year to better alder how the needs of your team will pan out before spending the higher draft capital
This is 2.04 in a start up draft, not 2.04 in a rookie draft.
I would not recommend this at all. 2.04 in a start up draft is worth like 2 1sts in most cases, if not more if this is SuperFlex.
Yeah I'm with gizzy, I like this trade
oh man so much back and forth here, I have mixed feelings about passing on the stud at 2.04 but I don't want to just cruise into draft day with all my OG picks ya know.... isn't it a bad move to not trade any picks in a startup?
Nah man you gotta play how you like to, I traded in my start up because the thrill of finding those mid round guys undervalued was more exciting to me than grabbing those guys considered studs at the time. The guy that won our first year didn't trade nothing during the draft
Dynasty is a long game, you gotta build a team of players you like, success comes second (unless you're hypercompetitive in which case, I believe the value is in those mid rounds and that future first)
2.04 is valuable though see if you can't push the package a little 😉😉
haha yeah maybe I will, although I've already bid him up to the current trade offer....
Really appreciate you chiming in though my dude, still no idea what I'm going to do!
Don't do it!
Put names to it and analyze.
10 team SF, PPR
Sending. Michael Pittman and 2022 2nd
Getting: OBJ and 2022 3rd
People have been burned by OBJ more than once, haven't been burned by Pittman. Burned people have memories. Burn me once, shame on you. Burn me twice, shame on me. Pittman is hope.
I like the OBJ side but it’s close
Hey man the thread is now archived so I can’t comment there, but how are the tab 75s 9 months later? Any issues/annoyances? Im interested in getting one myself
Some people say they can’t connect via Bluetooth, is this an issue you’ve come across? Also how’s the battery life on this keyboard
It’s been great. I don’t use bluetooth much so I can’t comment on its long term use. But when I use it, it works flawlessly.
Haven’t needed to replace the battery yet. If you’re looking for a mech that will last, get one that takes AA or AAAs instead of one with a built in battery. Those degrade over time. Tab75 is super underrated in the community. Highly recommend.
Thanks for the insight! It’s a tough decision between tab 75 and racer 3 since I want a backlight as well as Bluetooth, and each of them only has one of those 2 features haha
I value Bluetooth more than backlight so I’m gonna go with the tab 75. Glad to know it’s working well for you!
Gimme the Pittman side
12 team SF, TEP, 0.5 PPR
Give: 1.05, 2.05
Receive: Metcalf, 3.05
Smash accept yeah?
Thanks everyone. Took it and ran.
Rolling into the draft with 1.01, 2.01, 2.10, 3.01 3.05 etc
12 team SF TE premium .5ppr I have mahomes and want to compete now.
I get Tyreek Hill + Travis Etienee.
I give Ceedee Lamb + Kyle Pitts + 2022 1st and 2nd
Yeah I hold off on that, mahomes value will be long life, don't sell ya future
Nope, I keep ceedee and Pitts. Bro, don’t do it.
Yeah. That’s too much, honestly you shouldn’t even need picks involved here. You could argue it’s balanced without them. But I’d still hold on to CD/Pitts and continue to build.
12 team 1QB PPR
Give: Allen Robinson
Get: Kenny Golladay and 2021 2.01
Yeah that's nice
Could also look not nice in review in a years time, I got with the player I prefer to watch here
Yep, I’d do it.
Terrace Marshall vs Amon Ra St. Brown
Who do you guys think is better to take in the draft?
10 team 2QB 0.5 PPR
A: Ryan Tannehill & early 2022 2nd
B: Golladay 2022 mid first and 2021 3.08
Yeah dude B side nice
12 team PPR
A: Jalen Raegor, 2022 1st
B: Chase Claypool
Reagor and 2022 1st. Watch Reagor click this year.
Id keep reagor and the 1st. Its close but I think Reagor can improve this year
I’ll take A. I think Reagor takes at minimum a step forward this year.
I like claypool side because he has more upside IMO and you avoid the risk of the future first
This is pretty even. I'd lean A.
12 team Superflex league, PPR. No TE Premium.
Currently, as it stands, I’ve done some
Maneuvering and have Harris, Taylor, Henry, and Chubb as my backs with Drake as the depth guy.
Qb: Murray, Brady, and Darnold
Wrs: Metcalf, Aiyuk, Evans, Woods with Beasley and Shepard as the depth guys and Kelce and Tonyan as my TE’s.
I was offered two packages in a trade for Chubb:
2022 1st, Waddle, 2022 2nd, and
Singletary (mid to late round picks)
2022 1st (mid), Trey Sermon, Robby Anderson, and 2023 2nd (early)
Would you let go of Chubb or just keep the course? My current QBs are Darnold, Murray, and Brady and I’m gonna need one soon. I finished second last year because of a bad championship week. Would anyone move Chubb for any of these offers, or would you stay the course and go for it. We have a lot of flex’s in our league so of the core players mentioned, only one of those guys is a bench player. I have literally next to no draft capital in the first 3 rounds cause I went all in on last years playoff run.
If you trade...make sure you are confident you are getting a 2022 1st high enough to grab one of the top couple QBs coming out. Another option would be to look to trade Chubb for a current QB that is available. Darnold might surprise you, too, so a wait and see option isn't bad, either.
I would keep Chubb
That’s where I’m leaning right now, to be honest.
I'd move chubb. You're depth is good enough. I'd choose the waddle offer, but the sermon offer is respectable.
12 Team PPR
Get 1.02, Gibson
My rbs: CMC, Kamara, Zeke, Henry, Murray, Ty Johnson. Also have 1.04.
Counter Zeke for that package
I prefer CMC. Are you able to start all those RBs in your league?
Agreed. CMC is worth more than that.
12 team PPR SF
Give: Kareem Hunt. 1.08
Get: D’Andre Swift
I think this is fair. I own Swift so I’m leaning that way
I like the trade. Swift could be great behind that Lions oline. Hunt is good but in a timeshare and on the smaller side of that timeshare.
I’d take Swift
I like it, I'm high on swift. Hunt is good/great but swift is young and has less competition for snaps
12tm SF te prem
A) najee Harris , shenault
B) Miles sanders , aiyuk
I prefer A. Steelers like using a bellcow back and Harris will get a lot of touches.
10 team SF PPR
2 different trades I was offered:
I give: 2021 2.03 + 2023 2nd
I get: 2021 3.02, 2022 1st, 2 2022 3rds
I give: 2021 2.03
I get: 2021 2.06 + 2 2022 3rds
2.03 is my first pick this year so I’m hesitant to trade it away. Would you do either of these deals? If yes, which one?
I would do the trade to aquire a first.
You’d be ok with having 3.02 as your first pick this year? My team is very top heavy (CMC, Watson, MT, Kittle) but I don’t have much quality depth.
Yeah I wouldn't be to worried about it. Overall gaining a first round pick is a big value boost. You might be able to turn those extra 3rd rounders into a 2nd this year if you have someone in mind you want.
This all sounds reasonable
Think I would do either of these so which trade do you like better (12 Team 0.5 PPR non-SF):
Trade A: Give Evans + 2022 1st for Davante Adams
Trade B: Give 2022 1st, John Brown, Derek Carr for Zeke
B is a clear win to me, unless I am missing something. Trade A I prefer the Evans + 1st side.
12 team .5PPR regular
I give cam Akers, 2.06
Get 1.10, 1.11, 2.11
WR Justin Jefferson
WR Deebo Samuel
TE Irv Smith Jr
Flex Anthony Firsker
Bench: tannehill, AJ Dillon, josh Kelley, keshawn Vaughn, Tyler Johnson, hunter Henry, Njoku (for fun)
Pick 1.01, 2.02, 2.06, 2.07, 3.01, 4.01
Who do you project to get at pick 11 and 12? Would you trade Akers for them? Try to put names to the picks.
12 team SF PPR
My RBs: Cook, Jacobs, Mostert, RoJo, Hines, Cohen
My QBs: Tanny, Goff, Dalton, Mac Jones
Give: Goff + Mostert
Get: Fitzpatrick + Miles Sanders
Do it, big upgrade at RB and not sure if Goff will even start much longer than Fitz. (and I'd rather start Fitz while he is)
8 Team PPR, TEP, 2QB
Start 3 WR and 2 FLEX
Give: Chark, Josh Jacobs
Get: Michael Thomas
RBs are dalvin, Jacobs, Monty, Clyde
Think I have enough muscle at RB to get it done with those 3 for the year, and I think mike could help give me the push for the chip.
This was just the start of our trade talks, but I wanted to gauge what others think first.
I don’t love it but you gotta pay up for studs so go for it
B for sure
B by a good amount imo
I’d probably rather be team B but it’s pretty close for me
I think that’s fair especially because he may not play and if he does the Texans are a dumpster fire
12 team SF PPR
• Give: Waller, Mecole Hardman
• Get: Kelce
Going all in contending this year, hardman has never touched my starting lineup. Thoughts?
I would do this trade in a heartbeat. I love Waller, but Kelce has Mahomes throwing the ball to him.
Think he has a full 1 maybe 2 elite years left in him? I do agree though man lol
Yeah definitely worth it
This seems like a sideways trade with no clear beneficiary. Whoever you think you will enjoy watching play more is the guy you should target here.
100%. Can make the case for either side so which one do you wanna watch/cheer for more?
Smith for me but seems fair
12 Team 0.5 PPR
Team A: Davante Adams
Team B: Mike Evans & 2022 1st (likely mid to late)
Probably fair but I would go Adams 10/10 times. He was wr 1 overall upside and i dont believe Evans does.
As a contender I’d just keep crowder I think. If I dropped him it’d be for Palmer I think
12 team, 1QB, no PPR, standard
I just got offered:
Give: Reagor and Moss, 2022 3rd (probably late)
I know most of the first 7 picks (Harris, ETN, Chase, Pitts, Lawrence, Javonte. No clue who 7 is picking, but probably a WR).
Knowing that, should I take this?
Edit: misread the trade on who was giving up a 3rd
Yeah if its waddle or smith there take it
Even giving up Moss when I’m weakest at RB and strongest at WR?
Yeah, I'm not sure how much Moss adds and you have Singletary anways. I would definitely try and move a WR for a RB though, you're absolutely stacked at WR. Or try and move up in the draft
Fair enough. I accepted. Thanks for the advice!
Guaranteed one of waddle or smith, smash accept
Moss isn’t moving the needle enough to worry that much about positional need over value
Good point. And I only used a 2nd on him anyway.
10 team PPR SF
Our startup is currently in the 20th round, and Garoppolo, Lock, and Taysom Hill are all still available. Which of these 3 QB’s would you rather have? And in what order would you draft them? It’s so late in the draft, I thought I’d take a shot on one of them.
Jimmy > Taysom > Lock
Jimmy has the highest upside and probably best chance to start beyond 2021
Taysom does have rushing upside and could start if Jameis falters
Don't think Lock will be a starting QB beyond 2021
Jimmy, Hill, Lock
I’d go Jimmy G, best odds to start the most games this season
12 team SF PPR (2rb, 2wr, 3 flex)
Qb: Dak, Deshaun, Daniel Jones, Zach Wilson
Rb: saquon, Ronald Jones, Gibson, Edmonds, Michael Carter
Wr: Keenan Allen, Adam thielen, lockett, woods, Diontae Johnson
Te: mark andrews, Chris Herndon
I have a trade on the table for my Ronald Jones for his Curtis Samuel plus a 2023 first. Should I accept it without a thought? Just feel like my rb depth isn’t great and I can contend with my current roster
I think it’s smart as long as you don’t feel like a contender right now
You gotta accept man
I'm fine with it if you wanna lock up the Dallas backfield
Makes sense to get some security
12 Team; PPR
A: Jalen Reagor + 2.04
B: Cooper Kupp + 3.01
Kupp side if contending, Reagor side if rebuilding but if I’m rebuilding I’d probably just hold Kupp
We’re receiving Kupp. We’re middle of the road, but we’re making trades to try and contend and this was one of the first that we got done!
Nice! I like it for you, good luck
I think you’re good either way. I’d likely take side B — projecting CEH + Javonte/Pitts vs Najee + Bateman/Lawrence, etc.
I think A is getting good value here, but I think I’d rather have the CEH side. Specifically because CEH + whomever you’d get at 1.05 is greater to me than the two picks
12 Team SuperFlex Standard scoring
Team 1 : Austin Eckler , 1.06 , David Johnson & Antonio Brown
Team 2 : Dalvin cook , Henry Ruggs & 3.08
I have Allen & Dak and Darnold at QB
Didn't need the 1.06 for that position
This trade has elements coming from several directions, young and old, picks and players. I feel like I want Team 1 just slightly. I think the 1.06 can be a high tier QB in SF. In my draft 4 of the first 7 picks were skill position.
Well that's the side I traded .
But I value your points . Knowing my guys in draft Najee . Pitts and chase would of been gone. Maybe sliding Wilson and Mac Jones to me
But I already have Dak and Josh Allen who are my anchors
12 team half ppr SF
Team 1: amari Cooper
Team 2: Tyler Boyd, Robert woods
Gave away cooper. Am I dumb?
If you need depth its fine, those are two weekly starters. In a vacuum I'd probably take Cooper.
I would have had to start rookie Wrs week 1 otherwise. Either Elijah Moore or terrace Marshall
Call that trade about even. Cooper and Boyd are about the same age. I'd probably rather have the Cooper side by a nose, ideally. In my current SF position, I'm weak at WR3, so there might be hungry teams trying to compete but weak in the W3 area, maybe they would do a trade like that to expand their startable players. GL
Normally I’d rather have cooper too. Before the trade, Elijah Moore would have been my best option for my last flex option. I just figured I’d rather have more proven commodities
Think it’s solid if you needed WR depth
Yeah I was having to use one of my rookie wide receivers to fill one of my flex spots so I just feel way more comfortable having proven vets enough to fill it out
No woods is gonna eat with Stafford .
I think you slightly won
What is Hunter Henry’s perceived value right now in both SF 12 team PPR and PPR TEP leagues?
I play in single TE, non premium leagues, and especially in SF non premium, my play is to greatly deprioritize the TE position. Only 1 needed to start. That said, Henry in general I have not loved for the position and have owned very few shares. He was viable in fantasy, but the injuries kept him out. Now in NE, I wonder about his fantasy production, and despite the hype, I kinda see NE TE's underperforming the consensus estimate. Cam Newton's no Brady, and NE gets a lot of yards on the ground (and via Cam on the ground). Not to mention HH and Jonnu Smith are now both Patriots, it's going to be a big reveal how the Pats decide to use them. So if I'm asking for HH, I'm trying to offer a future 2nd or less. Anything under a straight up 2, that's a steal for HH. Might be able to acquire a 2nd + dart player.
Thanks man, fantastic write up. It’s greatly appreciated
Looking for some trade advice in a start up SF dynasty.
If I were to trade for example my 3.03 and 4.10 for someone's 3.10 and 4.03, would it be expected that I would also obtain a later round pick? Say a 10th or so? Due to the losing of top end value in the 3rd and gaining less due to scarcity in the 4th? What would be the appropriate range of pick to ask in return in this scenario?
How many rounds? It would make sense to add a late round pick since you are going back in a higher round.
The startup is 21 rounds total. Obviously at the end it'll just scraps being picked and speculative adds.
Yea 10th - 15th doesn't hurt there.
Okay thanks! Just looking to make sure i'm not crazy for trading down to acquire some picks!
Not an issue!
I wouldn't. Rodgers is going to the Broncos and Sutton is gonna put up 2,000 yards. I might be biased though cause I am a Broncos fan
