Mims is cut sometime in June, then is picked up by Arizona and has a great camp (per reports). He gets Covid, is cut. Picked up by the Bears, makes the starting roster, opens the year with 80 yards, 49 yards, and then 122 yards in his first three games. He gets hurt, placed on IR a week later, ends up having season ending surgery, and never sees the field again.
As a cowboys fan, this is the fit I see working best for his role. However, Chiefs have cap issues and I’m not sure they will be looking to FA after getting burned by Sammy Watkins. Look at them to draft WR talent because this class has every type of receiver they could want. Burners, big body possession guys, gadget dudes, route runners etc
Bought him late in the season for a late first. Knew it was an overpay at the time but think he will really get after it next year. The man has all the tools and I’m just a believer in him. Landing spot is everything so hope it goes well but who knows.
Nobody on this sub can ever keep their Diontae(Johnson), Davante(Adams), DeVante(Parker), Devonta(Freeman), D'Onta(Foreman)'s straight. *Edit:* DeVonta(Smith)
I was never a big Diontae guy before this season, and I'm tired of fading him. He's extremely good.
He's putting up this kind of stat line with absolute garbage QB play from Ben. While everyone makes QB excuses for Jeudy or McLaurin or whoever, Diontae just dominates. I really think he might already be the next AB/Adams, and its just been hidden by the QB play.
What does this have anything to do with Davante? For every Adams, there’s a Kevin White, Corey Coleman, Dorial Green-Beckham, Justin Blackmon, Jonathan Baldwin… your argument doesn’t really hold any weight to it other than trying to somehow arbitrarily correlate two entirely different wide receivers in different situations with different play styles
Justin Blackmon was more like Josh Gordon than any of those guys you listed. As in his problem was substance abuse/discipline and not his talent. My very first year of fantasy in 2013 I drafted TERRIBLY (CJ Spiller 1st overall the year he busted, Amendola in the 3rd, etc) but I picked up Blackmon when he came back from suspension and he gave me 4 straight weeks of WR1 pts (around 20 PPG) before getting suspended again. I actually had a decent team for those 4 weeks.
The situations are very different. Adams was pretty bad his first few years and dramatically improved as a player. Jerry has looked good but the qb and injuries have really held him back.
One of these is a much bigger hot take than the other. I think JK Dobbins is a pretty solid prediction for top 15 - he's had all season to recover, he's obviously very talented. Akers has a much bigger hurdle to overcome since no RB has ever come back from an achilles.
For a few games multiple years after his injury. People aren't doubting that a RB can do that. They are doubting that a RB can handle multiple years of 250+ touches following an achillies.
I'm with you, and because I believe in this I don't even feel like it's a hot take. But I know this place does. Which makes me feel even more sure it's right.
A young QB with experience now in the NFL with the arguably one of the best weapon arsenals in the league. Add some reinforcements to the offensive line, maybe another TE weapon and keep adding to a solid defense. It can happen. Mahomes, Lamar, Murray, Allen all with similar trajectories. This is my hot take and I’m sticking to it
Elijah Moore is a top 12 WR. Elijah Mitchell is a top 12 RB. Melvin Gordon re-signs in Denver and torpedoes the "Javonte is the number 13 player in dynasty on KTC".
This week’s game will give us some glimpse, but last time he started he looked way too raw.
If he is able to improve like Josh Allen and Lamar, I think he could be a top 5 fantasy QB in a couple of years, but next year… too soon imo
Hopkins goes back to being a WR1 for at least the next year, and stays a WR2 for the next two years after that.
Damien Harris is a top 20 RB in 2022, making him a top 10 dynasty RB as he looks to leave in FA after the year.
Pitts has a worse year than this year, causing him to dip in value and making him a great buy before 2023.
Lance struggles while Jimmy G thrives in either Carolina or Washington making everyone question the 49ers decision.
Don’t worry Lance figures it out in 2023 but he’s never the top QB everyone thinks he will be
I don’t really think it’s Baker, DPJ also hasn’t taken advantage of his opportunities. Some of the drops he had were so bad and game changing… I hope he improves greatly this off season but he just doesn’t look like the guy.
Would be very surprised if Browns don’t bring in a WR from FA.
He's valued as RB24 on KTC, so the dynasty consensus is he's barely a RB2 at all, even as a rookie. I think this take is hot enough considering the amount of people who think he'll be useless next year.
Rojo to Seattle
Gallup finishes as WR17-24 in Chicago
Fant TE6 in PPR
Corral to ATL
Tua has top 10 year *assuming phins do SOMETHING about that awful line*

Breece Hall is the 2021 dynasty community’s version of EQ St. Brown. Getting tons of hype now and a lot of people on this sub are going to be extremely surprised when he’s not picked in the NFL draft nearly as high as they think he will be.
It’s not a direct comparison. Before that 2017 draft, EQ St. Brown was this sub’s definitive WR1 in the class, he fell all the way to the 6th round. Breece right now is this sub’s unquestioned RB1, and I feel like it’s mostly because of the highlight tape runs. I seriously doubt Breece falls to the 6th, but I don’t think he’s going in the NFL draft until mid-late third and there’s going to be likely 4 RBs drafted ahead of him
I'm sorry, how early before the '18 draft did this sub have ESB as their WR1?? Because it definitely wasn't right before the draft. Or even this far before the draft...
This sub has been high on Breece since his freshman year. I dont get this comparison at all unless you're just joking.
Godwin leaves TB and is the clear #1 on his team and is a top 8 WR. Hunter Renfrow is top 25 PPR.
Javonte is a top 5 RB. Akers is a top 10 RB.
Huntley is traded and is a top 8 QB.
I’m a huge Godwin fan and want that to happen for him but I doubt he can finish top 8 after tearing his ACL. Teams also might be reluctant to sign him as their WR1 after the injury. This injury timing really tanked his value sadly.
The season after I can see him returning to form as a WR1.
Lions will make the playoffs and be on their way to becoming a fantasy football dream team with hock, swift, and good wr production
Sun God Approves!
I really want Rodgers on the Lions lol
As a lions fan, I both love and hate this. I'll take it
Mims is cut sometime in June, then is picked up by Arizona and has a great camp (per reports). He gets Covid, is cut. Picked up by the Bears, makes the starting roster, opens the year with 80 yards, 49 yards, and then 122 yards in his first three games. He gets hurt, placed on IR a week later, ends up having season ending surgery, and never sees the field again.
I feel like this take is more specific than it is hot.
But it doesn’t talk about the tattoo of the salamander that causes the sale of the team.
True, I was channeling Dwight's "perfect crime".
Yeah with this level of detail, I'm pretty sure dude is from the future
Putting a calendar reminder to sell my Mims share after week 3
Spicy!
Crazy , I was going to say the exact same thing .
JK dobbins will be a top 7 RB in 2022
I traded Najee Harris for JK Dobbins, and Terry McLaurin, so I really hope you’re right. Got my 2nd round pick back, too.
Michael Gallup finishes between WR18-24
Love to see him in Kansas City.
That’s my hope. Or chicago
Ew Chicago
Haha say what you want but I still like fields (especially without Nagy) and ARob is likely gone
I need that, especially if he gets more of a role on a diff team bc he’s a wr 3 there.
I can’t imagine he goes anywhere this offseason where he’s less than the teams WR2
Bought him late in the season for a late first. Knew it was an overpay at the time but think he will really get after it next year. The man has all the tools and I’m just a believer in him. Landing spot is everything so hope it goes well but who knows.
Michael Thomas plays every game and finishes top 5
Davis Mills is a key buy low candidate for every league you can get him
Well too bad the only other Texans fan in my league has him. So I won’t be able to get him
This sub will stop disrespecting Diontae Johnson, both by learning to spell his name, and by valuing him appropriately as a dynasty asset.
Nobody on this sub can ever keep their Diontae(Johnson), Davante(Adams), DeVante(Parker), Devonta(Freeman), D'Onta(Foreman)'s straight. *Edit:* DeVonta(Smith)
Don't forget Cooper Cupp!
And DeVonta (Smith)!
I knew I was forgetting one or three.
He’s like WR12, I feel like that’s accurate
You would
Never gonna happen. That being said… going to continue to not sell him for pennies and ride that production until the wheels fall off.
Hassan Haskins stonks go off in todays game and he’s a serviceable rb2 as a rookie
Off to a rough start on this prediction
Georgia d too crazy Edit: stonks did not go up
Jeudy and Bateman will both shoot up to top 20-15 receivers
Bateman yes please
[удалено]
What a shame
please
I think Bateman will shine, and Jeudy will prove that he is a bust. Just my opinion
Just remember it took Davantae a few years to get going
You could say this for anyone that has sucked their first few years tho lol
Except jeudy had a combination of Lock and Bridgewater and Adams had Rodgers
What does this have anything to do with Davante? For every Adams, there’s a Kevin White, Corey Coleman, Dorial Green-Beckham, Justin Blackmon, Jonathan Baldwin… your argument doesn’t really hold any weight to it other than trying to somehow arbitrarily correlate two entirely different wide receivers in different situations with different play styles
Justin blackmon doesn't belong in that category he was so good 😍
Justin Blackmon was more like Josh Gordon than any of those guys you listed.
Yep because as a receiver whoever throws to them has no bearing on their career. Thanks for the insight
And?
The situations are very different. Adams was pretty bad his first few years and dramatically improved as a player. Jerry has looked good but the qb and injuries have really held him back.
And Davantae had Aaron Rodgers his entire career lol.
Why is jeudy a bust? It looks like Broncos just can’t get a qb
Probably means for fantasy, in which case yeah jeudy is closer to a bust
Yea I’m strictly talking fantasy production wise
Cam Akers and JK Dobbins top 15 RBs
Fresh legs
Magic legs!
One of these is a much bigger hot take than the other. I think JK Dobbins is a pretty solid prediction for top 15 - he's had all season to recover, he's obviously very talented. Akers has a much bigger hurdle to overcome since no RB has ever come back from an achilles.
D'onta Foreman came back from a torn achilles
For a few games multiple years after his injury. People aren't doubting that a RB can do that. They are doubting that a RB can handle multiple years of 250+ touches following an achillies.
Chase and Higgins WR1's
Not sure this is a hot take considering they rank 8th and 17th this year in PPR.
Also I want to say 11th and 12th in PPG
Justin Fields top 10 fantasy QB
[удалено]
[удалено]
I'm with you, and because I believe in this I don't even feel like it's a hot take. But I know this place does. Which makes me feel even more sure it's right.
Man I’d be impressed if he becomes top 20 tbh. All the rookie QBs have had a rough go of it. That being said I do like his potential
CMC back to RB1 (overall, and prob only in PPR)
Fuck I hope so. All he needs to do is stay healthy really.
Pretty much this. The games he plays he averaged like 25 ppg. He’s just barely played in two years.
Joe Burrow breaks the TD record in route to MVP honors
This is absolutely sizzlin
This is way too hot bruh, he had the easiest passing schedule in the NFL this year.
This is my hot take and I’m sticking to it
The Houston Texans provide the fantasy world with 4 or 5 viable players.
Davis mills, cooks, rookie RB and?
Bevin Jordan
Jamison Crowder goes to KC and has a top 24 season.
Waddle and Tua will be the best dynasty stack for at least the next three years. Over Burrow and Chase/Higgins.
Ohhhh that’s spicy. I like it
This is a hot take! A lot of people are just making like-warm takes at best.
That’s certainly hot! Lol ill be spicy too and take Hurts/Smith
I can't see Hurts developing enough as a passer for that to be possible, but as an Eagles fan I would love it
Not a chance. This was too spicy - I had to chug a gallon of milk.
2022 Gabe Davis is this years Tee Higgins
Ur wild lol
Subscribe
Elijah Moore is a top 12 WR. Elijah Mitchell is a top 12 RB. Melvin Gordon re-signs in Denver and torpedoes the "Javonte is the number 13 player in dynasty on KTC".
Swift is the RB1
Lance will be a top 5 qb
This week’s game will give us some glimpse, but last time he started he looked way too raw. If he is able to improve like Josh Allen and Lamar, I think he could be a top 5 fantasy QB in a couple of years, but next year… too soon imo
He's going to have such an easy time putting up fantasy points between the elite receivers and his rushing floor
Zach Wilson Top 12 QB
Yup that’s hot
I could kiss you
Cordarrelle Patterson goes back to being Cordarrelle Patterson and Mike Davis goes back to being Mike Davis
is this good or bad for Mike Davis?
Lol what does that even mean!?!
No one knows what it means, but it’s provocative
Mike Davis never stopped being Mike Davis
When did he stop being mike Davis in 2021?
Mike Davis is already mike davis...trash.
Julio returns to form. Ends the year as a WR 2.
Someone teach this guy how to stretch during the off season!
BOOOOO on the Pitts take.
Michael Thomas actually plays, making the Justin Jefferson pick I gave up to get him look slightly less terrible
Zach Wilson ascends to the Josh Allen, Dak tier of qb
The Dolphins invest heavy in the offense (o-line & RB) in the off-season, and Tua is the biggest winner, as he finishes as a top 10 QB.
In the 2023 thread, people understand what hot take means
There has to be at least some level of credibility to make a take hot... you're talking straight gibberish here
Garrett Wilson goes to Vegas and is a top 3 PPR wide receiver.
Waddle is WR1 next year
Mitch trubisky puts up QB 2 numbers on the browns and they browns win the AFC North.
Etienne will be a PPR RB1 book it Toney will be top 24 PPR Deebo won’t be top 10 PPR
Toney will be a top 5 WR for half the season, and terrible the other half. Don’t know which half will be which though 🤷
Why won't deebo keep trending up?
Just not a big fan of Lance and I also think Aiyuk will eat up more targets next year
Lance scares me but deebo just makes plays
Shanahan clearly loves running his offense through him too. If deebo is healthy I don't see how he's not a top 10
Yeah I mean he doesn't even need targets. He gets like 8 carries a game.
ETN and Toney yes please
Joe Burrow top 5 QB Cam Akers is a top 20 RB Jerry Jeudy is a top 15 WR
These are more like luke warm takes
The Akers should be a hot take since it's much harder for a RB to come back from an Achilles injury like his.
Lance struggles while Jimmy G thrives in either Carolina or Washington making everyone question the 49ers decision. Don’t worry Lance figures it out in 2023 but he’s never the top QB everyone thinks he will be
As a Carolina fan PLEASE send us Jimmy G. I beg
Brady will be QB1 and in the MVP hunt. Again. At 45.
To be honest, I don't think this is a hot take.
Brady will get upset at missed blocks and do a Vontae Davis and retire at halftime
Tee Higgins WR1 and better than Chase
Trevor Lawrence will be a bust but people will still excuse it.
DPJ has a breakout year.
Not so hot. He's in a good spot.
It’s just the baker situation
[удалено]
Yeah, I mean hopefully he can step it up and catch,
I don’t really think it’s Baker, DPJ also hasn’t taken advantage of his opportunities. Some of the drops he had were so bad and game changing… I hope he improves greatly this off season but he just doesn’t look like the guy. Would be very surprised if Browns don’t bring in a WR from FA.
Yeah I feel like he’s a long ball guy, it’s both their faults both have flaws that they can fix over the offseason
Baker bad
On a per game/start basis, Malik Willis will be a top 5 fantasy QB
Spicy!!!! I love it
So basically Jalen Hurts from last year.
AJB is WR1 in stays healthy is WR1
Dudes already been drinking the New Year’s Eve champagne 😂
Elijah Mitchell continues to control the 49ers backfield and is a serviceable back end RB1 or high end RB2...when healthy.
How is that hot - isn’t that exactly what happened this year
He's valued as RB24 on KTC, so the dynasty consensus is he's barely a RB2 at all, even as a rookie. I think this take is hot enough considering the amount of people who think he'll be useless next year.
Rojo to Seattle Gallup finishes as WR17-24 in Chicago Fant TE6 in PPR Corral to ATL Tua has top 10 year *assuming phins do SOMETHING about that awful line* Edit: formatting
Mercy. Use punctuation to separate thoughts 😂
Shit, they were supposed to be on separate lines like bullet points lol
Sutton will be a top 24 WR with a new great QB at the reigns
Big believer in Sutton. Traded for him last off season. He should be their best receiver, but no one remembers to throw his way.
CMC plays a full season and finishes as RB1
Also season canceled after W1 due to covid.
Juju gets healthy and is a top 15 WR in PPR after being traded
he's a free agent lol
Mostert plays a full season
Ke'shawn Vaughn becomes a top 25 RB with fournette and Ronald Jones leaving TB.
Jordan Howard will be a top 20 back
Penny stays healthy all year.
Might be the hottest take in here.
Breece Hall is the 2021 dynasty community’s version of EQ St. Brown. Getting tons of hype now and a lot of people on this sub are going to be extremely surprised when he’s not picked in the NFL draft nearly as high as they think he will be.
I know this thread is for hot takes but comparing Breece Hall to EQSB might be a DynastyFF all time absurd take
It’s not a direct comparison. Before that 2017 draft, EQ St. Brown was this sub’s definitive WR1 in the class, he fell all the way to the 6th round. Breece right now is this sub’s unquestioned RB1, and I feel like it’s mostly because of the highlight tape runs. Any reasoning behind this?
Aren't none of the top fantasy rookie rbs projected to go in the first 2 rounds of the NFL draft? Even rb needy teams Cardinals/bucs may wait on guys
More so I’m saying there could be like 4 other RBs all picked before Breece in the NFL draft
Spiller walker Williams ?? Who?
Walker, Spiller, Charbonnet, Kyren Williams, potentially also Hassan Haskins and James Cook
That is a nuclear hot take.
I definitely commend you on making your take as hot as possible. But it’s supposed to be more of a spicy hot, not a dumpster fire type of hot.
If I’m wrong, dunk on me absolutely, but I do think I’m right on this. But I’m accepting full responsibility if I’m wrong on this
Lol. Hall will be the 1st back selected. But it is a hit take thread so you do you
Alright well you sound very confident so I guess we’ll see
Juju becomes a WR1 with a new team and Amon-Ra steps ups to be a WR2 on the year as a PPR machine.
Amon-ra emerges as the next Antonio Brown, only sane. Everyone wonders how we all missed it when he’s scoring 20 points per week.
I would absolutely love that. As someone holding Juju and MT, I would love a less dramatic receiver on my squad
guess someone is milking the sub for takes to get ideas for the podcast huh
Terrace Marshall breaks out and becomes a genuine WR 2
[удалено]
You must be referring to Love. Aaron would retire if forced to Seattle.
I dunno, Aaron might like Seattle. They have the whole “Seattle Freeze” thing going on and Aaron froze out his entire family.
Plus he’s got that ‘getting the college grunge band back together’ vibe.
Tua top 10 qb Waddle top 5 Spiller nor hall finish as rookie rb1. Jamesis goes to the Steelers with the offence finishes as top overall
Tony Pollard is a top 5 fantasy RB
Godwin leaves TB and is the clear #1 on his team and is a top 8 WR. Hunter Renfrow is top 25 PPR. Javonte is a top 5 RB. Akers is a top 10 RB. Huntley is traded and is a top 8 QB.
