Toyotas are bullet proof but it all comes down to how you maintain your car. My Merc has 405k miles and she is still running like a champ. Sometimes I like to drive without a battery to fuck with people
A few reasons- I feel a little safer in the Camry cuss words bigger but at the same time it's a harder to park for me in tight spaces unlike my Corolla. The other reason is that the Camry has a bigger gas tank 17 gallons vs 13 for Corolla.
A car that runs is a good car.

My 2003 has 221k and just keeps going!
Tips for maintenance?
Change your fluids regularly.
Both cars are great for dashing, i would keep using the Corolla since itβs older.
Good idea! And I only have 110k miles on that Corolla so might as well!
Seems too new, since you have the beater car might as well use it!
Any car that is cheap to maintain, already depreciated a ton and gets good gas mileage is great
Why are you switching from the 97 Corolla

Well a gas tank size shouldnt matter but I'd drive whichever gets the best mileage. Neither is going to have much book value at this point.
Anything w/4 wheels is great for dashing ππππ& evenππ΅π²π΄
