Andrews, Kelce, kittle are obviously elite. Knox (who was a FA pickup), Gronk (late-round pick), Freiermuth, Goedert, Henry for a stretch. There are more this year that are serviceable than previous recent years. That's what I am referring to.
Idk why you're getting down voted, it's either people with short memory or lack of experience. I don't remember a season where so much TE talent came on the wire.
Hockenson as the TE4 had 114.8 points in half PPR, that puts him with fewer points than guys like David Montgomery (RB27), Devonta Smith (WR31), Tony Pollard (RB26), AJ Dillon (RB25)… we’re talking less value than backup RBs here.
If you weren’t forced to play a TE, literally nobody would outside of the top 3 guys. I’m saying the TE position as a whole is a wasteland after the top 3.
Amon-Ra was that classic “pick him up as a bye week fill-in for him to have his single worst week of the year” for me. Darnell mooney did it to me last year. Needed like 3 points to win, mooney put up 2, while doing at least 8+ every other game in the season
I feel that. I added Tim Patrick to my bench as he put up between 11 and 12.4 in 0.5PPR 5 out of 6 weeks, then finally plugged him in with guys on bye and he had 2.6.
In the span of three days I've lost OBJ, Landry, Waddle, and now Hockenson. I was the top seed going into playoffs this week. I am not looking forward to Sunday.
I picked up Njoku, last week I had played hooper. I think I just go with Njoku this week & if I win then I can try to scrounge something for the semi's. If not then I can just enjoy the last week
Same. Last week I played no one because the game couldn't change the playoff picture. Njoku this week.
If I lose, I have a great gif to post in defeat. If I win, we go again next week and I still have a great gif for when I'm eventually knocked out.
Don't want to dampen the mood but like two days ago Dan Campbell said he was "hopeful" they'd have Hockenson back by Sunday. Not sure this means anything substantial for Swift's availability going forward.
I'm so jelly both Green and Mooney were available in your league ):
Kupp is literally all of my points for WR... after that KJ Osborn (and possibly Sun God) is my WR2 lmao.
I just picked him up for playoffs to FLEX and I’m going against the Hock owner after my first round BYE. I still feel Amon-Ra’s floor is extremely low so I’m kind of nervous.
I feel the opposite tbh, especially with this news, no Swift, and some questionable secondary opponents ROS.
Feel free to disagree, but in half PPR, I’d say his floor is probably at around 7-9 points now with some solid TD upside.
I can’t overlook the goose egg potential whenever Goff is throwing the ball. I definitely think he doesn’t goose again, but I feel it’s there as a super small chance that is on the table for any given week.
I’m actually playing him as a FLEX in 2 leagues, he’s arguably going to outperform Mooney or Van Jefferson in my league that I’m 4-10 in tho (consolation.) I have Jefferson and Gallup over him in the other 11-2 league, so it’s not like Amon-Ra couldn’t be my WR2 in both leagues lol.
Picked up Brevin Jordan a few weeks ago as my back-up for Hock's bye week. Grabbed a tuddy and put up 14. Never thought I'd now be contemplating between Jordan or my newest team member Njoku for the rest of the season.
Yea def stay away from that train if you can. My main league starts 3WRs so I have him slotted in (for now) over Jacobi Meyers. I've basically been streaming that starting slot since AB got hurt.
Dwain McFarland from PFF is like one of two experts that I really admire and follow. This is what he said regarding St. Brown in his latest Utilization Report: "WR – Amon-Ra St. Brown is playing inside and outside over the last two contests and has two consecutive 30% target-share outings. He is a WR3 option moving forward. FAB: 15-25%".
I usually treat my WR3 slot as a streamer and usually go for players with a more predictable floor, generally, unless I am projected to lose, then I would go for a player like DJax/Gutyton. St. Brown has been getting a healthy number of targets the last few weeks. Very tough sample size and a difficult decision in a do or die week. Good luck.
Wow, this kinda came out of nowhere for Hockenson. And now his season is just...over.
I'm glad I picked up Knox awhile back. He's honestly been better anyways.
I had kittle knox gronk and muth. I traded away gronk for dhop, dropped muth and then traded knox and Ingram to the kamara owner for Carson three days before he got ruled out for the season.
Im a hock owner and I fucking dropped Muth a few weeks ago because I needed to pickup T Hill and was already stashing Calvin, AJB, Michael Carter, and Damien Harris.
Really regret it now. I snagged Ertz last week but would have loved Muth. Although Muth’s low target count each week is kind of concerning.
For real. Snagged Thomas while he was still on IR and felt pretty good about that until he immediately injured himself again. I managed to get Ertz last week but uggghh
Man, I was really hyped to own Hock after the first two games this season. Thank goodness I was able to snag Gronk after someone dropped him during his injury stint. I cut ties with Hock a few weeks ago, but I was still hoping he’d get back to his early season form. Maybe next year
Any Packers fans able to chime in on Josiah Deguara as a possible flyer?
Deguara was a third round pick in 2020 and scored his first TD on 11/21/2021.
He’s still competing with 37 year old Marcedes Lewis, but since Robert Tonyan tore his ACL week 8 Deguara snap share has been as follows:
Week 8: 22%
Week 9: 24%
Week 10: 34%
Week 11: 46% (and a TD)
Week 12: 43%
Week 13: Bye
Week 14: 57%
For comparison sake Marcedes Lewis has been as follows…
Week 8: 42%
Week 9: 46%
Week 10: 57%
Week 11: 29%
Week 12: 40%
Week 13: Bye
Week 14: 55% (I guess some two TE sets this week)
So Degura out snapped Marcedes Lewis week 11, 12 & 14. I think either are a good play, but Degura probably has more upside just cause he’s not 37 lol. And the increasing snap share has been solid.
Zlystra now top TE in DET, listed as a WR & TE in ESPN. Could be a desperation add in deep leagues.
- played WR in college
- had 6 targets this past week
[Zylstra] Played and started in all 15 games for the Mavericks at wide receiver…Led the MSU [Min ST] receiving corps with 81 catches for 1,676 yards and 18 touchdowns
Does the sun God actually benefit from this? Has he been getting CB1 attention the last two games? Cuz if not I'd be wary of trusting him. Could be great for Reynolds tho. I just don't know lol
Bro was acting like he’s picking between a potato and a rock for his TE spot. Both of those guys are arguably just as good for fantasy as Hock has been this season.
I have a feeling my fantasy football playing is going to be out for the rest of the season. By the looks of it, however, I don't think I'll make a complete recovery in time for the off-season program.
Guess who drafted Henry, Ridley, Woods, and Hock this year. I’m playing Aiyuk, Ertz, Michael Carter, and Amon Ra St Brown in their place against Tyreek, JT, and Jefferson
Ah the annual tight end nightmare continues
Have a bye this week but not looking forward to starting *checks waiver* Conklin, Uzomah, or Engram.... *shudders*
Yeahhh I’m in a must win week and I’ve got the same options. Leaning RSJ or Conklin but don’t feel good about either
I had RSJ last week and dropped him for Conklin because RSJ was splitting time with someone else
Hasn't really felt bad this year. A lot of viable TEs honestly. Or moreso than previous years.
Still feels like a crapshoot for me as a streamer, just hoping for a TD and seem to miss every week lol
Oh that is frustrating. Well hopefully who ever you stream can nab a TD.
There's like 5 dependable TEs what are you talking about lol?
Andrews, Kelce, kittle are obviously elite. Knox (who was a FA pickup), Gronk (late-round pick), Freiermuth, Goedert, Henry for a stretch. There are more this year that are serviceable than previous recent years. That's what I am referring to.
Disagree. I'm only in a 10 team league and the replacement options for Hock are looking bleak.
Idk why you're getting down voted, it's either people with short memory or lack of experience. I don't remember a season where so much TE talent came on the wire.
There was so much hope and optimism with the start of his season :(
Waller and hockenson in 2 leagues. We were young and invincible after the first couple weeks
Exactly my situation in my own league. Drafted Waller and drafted hock as my flex backup TE. Thought I was in great shape about 3 weeks ago
He is TE 5 which is exactly where is was drafted
Yeah I’m my full PPR hes TE4 and honestly I’m happy with that. I’m out of playoffs anyhow but he performed about where I expected.
Just goes to show how terribly weak the position is because he didn’t have a great year and was still one of the best options
He did have a good year for TE standards tho. What do you mean.
That’s why TE premium should be the norm. But that’s the norm for TE scoring.
Kill me swiftly
[удалено]
Injecting some hopium into my veins that he’s good to go next week though!
His week 16 (ATL) and 17 (Seattle) matchups are too too too juicy. League-winning matchups, potentially. Please Swifty.
Gonna get bounced in the first round only to watch Swift go off on my roster in the weeks in which I'm eliminated
Seahawks are surprisingly very sturdy against the run . I could see swift dominating through the air though
they gave up like 150 rush yds to gibson, what do you mean sturdy
I think rbs average around 3 yards per carry against them .
they're giving up 20+ fp to the rb position last 4 weeks gave up 10+ to both burkhead and royce freeman just last week
yup kamara had like 10 catches in the first half when they played
I changed my name about midway thru this season from Killin em swiftly to Killin me swiftly, and it keeps getting worse
Anymore lions players wanna add to my urge to drink a bleach martini?
Mine went from "every week is chark week" to "most weeks are chark week" to "some weeks were chark week"
Krillin me swiftly is more like it
Damn, didn’t even realize that was on the table
right? like who needs a thumb?
Start Amon-Ra St. Brown?
Hes had 24 targets over the past 2 weeks. Thats rare.
And he’ll have 36 after this week. All praise the sun god!
Who else you got?
Who else they got?
Josh Reynolds I guess?
Javonte Williams, foreman, Amon-Ra, and gage. It’s PPR, I’m leaning Javonte
Same question. Have chase… then Mooney jeudy, aj green
Obvi gotta play Chase, but also think Mooney is an autostart for you. I would choose AJ Green over Jeudy given he has more upside.
In the span of three days I've lost OBJ, Landry, Waddle, and now Hockenson. I was the top seed going into playoffs this week. I am not looking forward to Sunday.
No bye ?
Not in this league.
My QB's are Lamar Jackson and Baker Mayfield, playoffs just happened to start this week too.
Lost Hopkins and Hockenson this week, also have Ekeler and Conner. Really hoping the last two can play
It was nice not having to stream TE's all season. Thank you hock for helping me get to playoffs 🙏
Okay but what are you doing now? In a 12 team the TEs are a wasteland and I’m lucky I have Muth. Trying to scope backups to him and it’s not pretty
The fact that they are quickly ruling him out for ROS should give Swift owners a glimmer of hope
He had surgery. It’s not exactly something they can hide or be coy about.
Don't want to dampen the mood but like two days ago Dan Campbell said he was "hopeful" they'd have Hockenson back by Sunday. Not sure this means anything substantial for Swift's availability going forward.
Dropenson
Wish him the best, but damn I’m glad I picked up the Sun God
Lost waddle and dhop, pick up sun god or moon man mooney?
I’d snag both if you have the space, but if it’s one I’d go 100% Mooney
Picked up aj green when hop went down. He’d be my drop to get both
I'm so jelly both Green and Mooney were available in your league ): Kupp is literally all of my points for WR... after that KJ Osborn (and possibly Sun God) is my WR2 lmao.
Im in the same boat, only I took St Brown since he was available. If Mooney is there I'd take him though.
Amon Ra is my WR1 now lol must be nice to only need him as a flex
I’m actually playing him as a FLEX in 2 leagues, he’s arguably going to outperform Mooney or Van Jefferson in my league that I’m 4-10 in tho (consolation.) I have Jefferson and Gallup over him in the other 11-2 league, so it’s not like Amon-Ra couldn’t be my WR2 in both leagues lol.

Amon Ra St Brown, WR, DET
Amon-Ra St. Brown, just a little nickname that’s been circulating since Ra is the name of the Egyptian Sun God lol
Amon-Ra Stud Brown
Amon-Ra St. Brown 24 Targets over the past 2 weeks with Hock out. Certified League Winner.
Oh you mean the guy that I picked up week 7 for Diggs’ bye week that put up a whopping 0 points?
Amon-Ra st brown
St. Brown
Oh damn. That’s a great point regarding targets!
Man my options Ros are rough now lol. Jared cook or RSJ type of players... fuck
Dude same. I’m starting cook tonight. I’m not happy about it
That's what I've gotta figure out in the next few hours. Either roll with Cook, one of the TEs from the Hou-Jax game, or Njoku. Oof.
Picked up Brevin Jordan a few weeks ago as my back-up for Hock's bye week. Grabbed a tuddy and put up 14. Never thought I'd now be contemplating between Jordan or my newest team member Njoku for the rest of the season.
When it comes down to it, I’d rather have someone on a good team with a good qb so cook it is
time to fire up the Sun God
All Hail Amon Ra…the savior of fantasy seasons!
Sun God, boys. Scoop and pray.
Who’s the sun god lol
Amon-Ra St. Brown.
Thanks, but I think I’ll hop off of the lions train. God speed
Yea def stay away from that train if you can. My main league starts 3WRs so I have him slotted in (for now) over Jacobi Meyers. I've basically been streaming that starting slot since AB got hurt.
I was pretty set with WR until Waddle got Covid but now I’m scrambling
Dwain McFarland from PFF is like one of two experts that I really admire and follow. Wow, this kinda came out of nowhere for Hockenson. And now his season is just...over. I'm glad I picked up Knox awhile back. He's honestly been better anyways.
Wow. Holy shit. This makes me picking up Muth even more critical. Yikes.
a short time ago I had Hockenson, Logan Thomas, and Freiermuth. Of course I traded away Muth because I liked my TE depth lmao
Ouch. 1/3 chance to pick the wrong guy...
at least I gave up Muth and Thielen for Zeke to pair him with totally healthy CMC…. this year has been brutal lol
Welp, I've said BYE to Hopkins and Hockenson on my playoff BYE week. Great.
Same. Pain
RIP to holding Hock and Logan Thomas
For real. Snagged Thomas while he was still on IR and felt pretty good about that until he immediately injured himself again. I managed to get Ertz last week but uggghh
Have them both and passed on picking up Goedert because I thought I was covered. Ughhh.
Man, I was really hyped to own Hock after the first two games this season. Thank goodness I was able to snag Gronk after someone dropped him during his injury stint. I cut ties with Hock a few weeks ago, but I was still hoping he’d get back to his early season form. Maybe next year
He was pretty solid the last 3 games if not the top 5 TE you were hoping for after the first two weeks
Thoughts on keeping him next year for $23 out of a total $200 budget? Feels like I might as well take my chances elsewhere for a steal in the draft.
Might be a minor overpayment but wouldnt say egregious
Time to unluth the muth
That’s my *checks notes* 3rd player I drafted in the top 7 who had a season ending injury! I love fantasy football!
"HELLO DARKNESS MY OLD FRIEND"
Love to start David Njoku in the playoffs, just love to do it
Small Cock Hock 😞
His thumb big tho
These playoffs finna be ass
Fire up the Muth
Which TE are you looking to pickup with the scrambles of WW options left? NJoku, Kmet, Everett, Cook, Uzomah?
I’m looking at Uzomah and Engram. Mainly for week 16, they have decent matchups.
I lost Hunt, Hopkins, Waddle, and Hock in days span…
Well fuck me
Conklin or Njoku?
Njoku this week but not sure how good the browns offense will be without their key starters
Njoku or Uzomah?
I panicked and took both. I'm planning to go with Njoku this week and play matchup from there.
Hunter Henry, Everrett or Engram?
So glad i traded Higgins for Hockenson in week 4...
Shoutout to the poor soul in my league who foolishly dropped kittle during his IR stint to save my TE situation and frankly my season. Rest easy Hock
Gotta love dominating the regular season and then losing half your team right before the playoffs. Idk why I continue playing this game anymore.
Gerald Everett maybe seeing as Lockett just got ruled out?
Any Packers fans able to chime in on Josiah Deguara as a possible flyer? Deguara was a third round pick in 2020 and scored his first TD on 11/21/2021. Swift/Hock stack sad trombone
15 team league the pickups are not ideal damn this blows
Does the sun God actually benefit from this? Has he been getting CB1 attention the last two games? Cuz if not I'd be wary of trusting him. Could be great for Reynolds tho. I just don't know lol
Drop Osborn for 🙌Amon-Ra🙌?
Waddle and Hock within hours, what did I do wrong today
Detroit has an off season program?
Fuck me. Gesicki or Goedert ROS?
Those are top 10 or probably 6 TEs.
Bro was acting like he’s picking between a potato and a rock for his TE spot. Both of those guys are arguably just as good for fantasy as Hock has been this season.
You have that luxury in 8 team leagues. Hock is definitely better than both guys though.
Talent wise, absolutely. Fantasy production wise, nah.
Hock averaged more fantasy points than both these guys, so he's just flat out better.
How much more does he average per week than Goedert and Gesicki?
So you roster 3 TE's that are basically all the same and you're saying "fuck me"?.... Yikes
Gesicki this week, Goedert ROS
I’m in the same boat. Been rolling with ertz but with waddle out I’m now torn between him and gesicki. Both are in similar spots.
Oof
What the
At least I have muth but wanted to play hock this weekend
Woods, Henry, and hock. Who’s next?
It's a bloodbath out here
didn’t even say before hand, yikes
Just in time for playoffs! ^FUCK
Just dropped him before I heard the news lol
Ah shit here we go again
Injury reporting this year is shit
Thanks for your service big cock hock
They dropping like flies out here.
Brock wright worth picking up to replace?
Nah I would look for someone else lol
You wouldn’t be in a hurry to come back quickly for the lions
My Ertz pickup during his bye week is bailing me out
Fuck. At least i can drop him now.
God fucking dammit. I could've had the muth over a month ago
Friermuth or Dalton Schultz?
Damn. I was hoping he would be back in time for Detroit’s playoff run.
Once again thank you drunk leaguemate for sending me Kittle for Ridley at 2am unsolicited
I am so glad I moved Dillon and Hock for Kittle right after Jones injury wow
Gesicki or higbee?
Gesicki
Glad some dude dropped Ertz a few weeks ago. Sheesh
bruh wtf
Step right in, Craig Reynolds!
I’ve lost half my team this past week…somehow lose Logan Thomas and Hock as my tight ends also….
My kittle for hock trade while kittle was hurt looks worse and worse
Well, I'm fucked.
Really glad I was able to pick up Ertz after his trade to the Cards
What the fuck....
I have a feeling my fantasy football playing is going to be out for the rest of the season. By the looks of it, however, I don't think I'll make a complete recovery in time for the off-season program.
I remember after 2 weeks everyone was like hock was a steal and Andrews was a bust. I then proceeded to trade away andrews
Guess who drafted Henry, Ridley, Woods, and Hock this year. I’m playing Aiyuk, Ertz, Michael Carter, and Amon Ra St Brown in their place against Tyreek, JT, and Jefferson
good thing I have a bye week but I need a TE replacement option are ASJ, Cook and Hooper
Damn. I guess I gotta ride Pitts as far he can take me
Worth holding him in a keeper league? Don't anybody gonna pick him up off waivers if I drop him right now
My team of Waddle, Hopkins, and Hockenson has not had a good day
Hahahaahah go to hell season. Ridley, Hopkins, Carson, Hock, Henderson, and now Waddle this week. I can't have nice things.
Good thing I picked up Goedert back in like week 6😅
First I lost CMC, then Robert Woods, then DHop and now Hock? I don't understand what I did to anger the fantasy gods.
lmao cool cool
