SSJBlueManny

Gainwell or foreman?

icouldntdecide

I'd take Foreman, if Tennessee wants to run Houston into the ground to secure their first round bye they'll do it.

SSJBlueManny

What about Damien harris or foreman? I like foreman for the matchup but harris is good too

phoenixlance13

Still lean Foreman. Harris still dealing with that hamstring

Jables49

Yeah, they may be resting Harris a bit

werdnanets

He could get some scores, but don't be surprised to see a lot of stevenson

SSJBlueManny

I have both lol

ballislife423

Gainwell, foreman, swift pick two half ppr

icouldntdecide

Probably the first 2. If Campbell didn't use Swift a lot last week I can't imagine he uses him more this week :(

SSJBlueManny

What about foreman or Damien harris

icouldntdecide

Foreman probably safer, Harris has the hammy and Stevenson to contend with

oliver_babish

Reminder: the Eagles have *nothing* to play for tonight. They will be the #6 or #7 team, and winning tonight wouldn't affect it that much because [as long as the 49ers win, they get the #6.](https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl/news/eagles-playoff-picture-seeding-scenarios-2022-nfl-bracket/1gq07q17uy7mk1w1nvgnmfp3d4) They will most likely face Tampa in any event, and could face LAR or AZ or [even DAL again.](https://www.inquirer.com/eagles/eagles-playoff-opponents-cowboys-buccaneers-nfl-scenarios-20220103.html) I think you'll see a lot of Minshew, a lot of Gainwell and ~~Howard~~ whoever comes up from the practice squad ([Jason Huntley](https://www.bleedinggreennation.com/2022/1/8/22873837/eagles-news-nfl-practice-squad-roster-cowboys-game-week-18-jason-huntley-covid-dallas-goedert-out)), and a lot of not trying hard.

HersheysTogekiss

Howard is out. It’s a divisional rival, and winning would hurt the cowboys. Eagles gonna play to win

oliver_babish

Did you not see the Eagles' week 17 game last year? On SNF? [Let me remind you:](https://www.nfl.com/news/sickening-giants-players-voice-displeasure-with-eagles-decision-to-bench-jalen-h) >**'Sickening': Giants players voice displeasure with Eagles' decision to bench Hurts vs. Washington** > >Published: Jan 04, 2021 at 01:03 AM > >As the New York Giants waited and the world watched, the NFC East was decided when the Washington Football Team prevailed in confounding fashion, winning 20-14 against a Philadelphia Eagles squad that made a slew of dumbfounding decisions. > >Following a surprising fourth-down call, Doug Pederson drew scrutiny from many -- most notably Giants players -- when he decided to replace dynamic rookie quarterback Jalen Hurts with backup Nate Sudfeld. > >Down by three points with two minutes to play in the third quarter, Pederson elected to go for it on fourth-and-4 and Hurts threw an incompletion on what would be his last play of the game. Sudfeld came in, threw an interception and fumbled on each of the next two Eagles drives, and Washington came away with a division-winning victory. > >While scrutiny abounded, Pederson explained his decision and maintained he was endeavoring to win the ballgame. > >"Yes, I was coaching to win," Pederson told reporters. "Yes, that was my decision solely. Nate has obviously been here for four years. And I felt that he deserved an opportunity to get some snaps....

HersheysTogekiss

They were out of the playoffs and had no reason to keep momentum going either..

oliver_babish

Keep telling yourself that. I doubt Hurts plays more than two series.

mmgforl

I think it’s been reported that he is expected to play few, if any, snaps today (hurts)

oliver_babish

Per a local news reporter, [Hurts may not even start.](https://twitter.com/JClarkNBCS/status/1479914374831775745)

Watahoot

Nice call. Haha

HersheysTogekiss

I wasn’t wrong, in the first half lol

cammywammy94

Should I play Gainwell over Javonte or Perine?

Omega_Pirate

I'm struggling with gainwell, Vaughn, or perine

Leading_Reveal8789

I think I would go gainwell over both of those guys

cammywammy94

He’s in! Now do I play Javonte or Perine?

icouldntdecide

I'd probably roll with Javonte but I understand why it's tough

cammywammy94

Yeah Javonte usually has a solid floor but now its MG3’s last game on contract. And bengals offense worries me plus Chris Evans will get snaps too

icouldntdecide

Yeah Perine is a valuable backup so I could see Cincy letting him take it easy too. As for MG3, yeah they don't need to preserve him, but I don't see his usage spiking a ton. You'll probably be more mad if Javonte goes off on your bench than Perine.

cammywammy94

Thank you so much. I put Javonte in and Gainwell at Flex. I am playing Chiefs D but Javonte went off and Chiefs still got 13 pts that game.

icouldntdecide

Best of luck.

OhHeyImAlex

We’re all here looking for advice on playing gainwell lol… I just have no idea what to do. I have cook and Chubb both playing for nothing, but have gainwell and perine on the bench playing to prove themselves? Who the fuck knows man…

icouldntdecide

Haha, I gotta figure out if it's worth benching Chubb for Gainwell or Perine... FML

OhHeyImAlex

It’s upsetting man. Chubb torched Cincinnati last time, but are they gonna play him for no reason?

icouldntdecide

After last week's disgusting affair I don't know if I can bring myself to play him.

OhHeyImAlex

I feel the same. I can’t think of any reason they won’t take it easy on him this week. No baker, no k hunt, 3rd rb Johnson on Covid list. So all sources say Chubb should run the offense, but I know he won’t

icouldntdecide

I think D'Ernest got activated today? Which could mean he could easily spell Chubb, although we have no idea of his health.

OhHeyImAlex

That pushes me over the edge into sitting chubby. Now the question of gainwell or perine lol

Really831

I love read end of the season turmoil

Objective-Alfalfa-88

As a Birds fan all I’ll say is Gainwell is solid and the eagles have the #1 rushing attack.

Objective-Alfalfa-88

Great point. For sure Hurts ability to run has a big part of it. But I believe Dallas has one of the worst run defenses to begin with so they should still struggle. Also Last time Minshew started (vs Jets week 13) Gainwell had 12 carries for 54 yards and a TD.

fiveighteen518

Sanders had 24 carries for 120 yds, so I'd be happy if Gainwell gets that volume. And Minshew only took 4 carries for 11 yards. Team stats: 20 passes, 41 rushes.

Objective-Alfalfa-88

As long as the passing game holds up their end of the bargain it should be

OhHeyImAlex

Very much appreciate that. I like his pass catching upside so I’ll let him roll tonight

Objective-Alfalfa-88

They’re also saying Hurts won’t play much so even more touches should go his way

OhHeyImAlex

Loving that! Now I just gotta work out who to start for the other rb slot… Chubb, cook, or perine

Objective-Alfalfa-88

With Chubb and Cook I’d think it’s unlikely they play the full game so you’re hoping they put up big numbers in limited playing. Perine on the other hand. In summary you should tell your Commish the championship should be on the penultimate week of the season to avoid this mess altogether lol

OhHeyImAlex

Ha! Fully agree, he said it was a mess up and wouldn’t happen again next year. But honestly it’s working for me since my team bombed last week

Objective-Alfalfa-88

Hope that helped man. Best of luck this weekend.

OhHeyImAlex

It’s a great start! Thanks again man.

fiveighteen518

Is that #1 rushing attack only because Hurts had the ability to run it himself at any given moment? If Hurts doesn't play much today, it's less for him to vulture from Gainwell, but does it also allow Dallas defense to shut down the run? Serious questions since you are a birds fan and I haven't watched them all year.

btg7471

If your studs aren't being rested, start em. Edit: are to aren't

OhHeyImAlex

I don’t think they’ve given any info on Chubb or cook being given light workloads this week, since they’re playing for nothing.

HersheysTogekiss

I agree with this, except for Aaron Jones. I’m so scared of him this week

trailerparkjesus87

Gainwell just officially knocked Duke Johnson off my starting lineup. Hoping for a monstrous game from him but fully prepared to be massively disappointed.

Joetheshow1

Gainwell over Perrine???

HersheysTogekiss

Yeah IMO

Joetheshow1

Was thinking that way as well, just wanted someone to agree with me and tell me I'm smart lol

[deleted]

I'm really hoping Minshew gets good time and balls out a bit tonight. I think he deserves another shot as a starter somewhere and I'm kinda hoping Cleveland.

aka-firm-handshake

Gainwell over Harris and Zeke?

java_the_hut

I’m in the same boat. Harris May still be injured and has Stevenson to contend with, plus Miami has a good defense. Zeke has seemed limited even when they were playing for something. I feel Ike like he has a low floor. I don’t know much about Gainwell but I’m leaning towards starting him.

Arbucks

Gainwell time

Ariatoll

Gainwell?

MadSmatter

Tyree szn 🤡

attackerjackrr

Pick two: Swift, Carter, Penny, Gainwell, Foreman, Osborn

ItsHardwick

Penny and foreman

attackerjackrr

100% onboard with Penny, but may I ask why Foreman over Swift?

Loorrac

We know Foreman will get touches, we don't with Swift unless I missed something. After last weeks debacle, having a hard trusting that situation.

Jables49

Gainwell over penny?

Throw-your-back-off

picked up miles with my third round pick, after adams and godwin. never again

crimdawgg

Dallas D/ ST or Minnesota?

karmagains

Pick 2: Rhamondre, gainwell, Perine. Full ppr

NumerousResource7212

You just reminded me there was football today , thank you

Wonderful-Maximum696

Gainwell or Connor PPR?

brochacho6969

I'm all in on Minshew Mania

jmikha

Gainwell or Vaughn??

straightedeged_420

Finally time to play Gainwell…. Oh my season is over.

micahpugh

I am having a lot of trouble choosing, in the championship so this is crucial. Pick 3 of Swift, Cordarrelle, Singletary, and Gainwell

DJMaxLVL

No Cordarelle
