**The Land of Silk and Honey** Renaissance Era, but with bugs instead of people.

the_vizir

**Horror Shop**: the modern world, but all the myths, urban legends, folktales and ghost stories happen to be true.

Ulysses5438

Napoleonic Era with interplanetary travel

IvanDFakkov

**Flame Phantom**: 1920s, but with atompunk cosplaying steampunk.

perennialink

Goldrose: 1895 Victorian Era, but set on a floating world in the clouds and God is a woman

Irismono

**MECHAMLET** My world's elevator pitch quite literally is "Hamlet, in space, with giant robots". Not quite the same pattern but I think it fits. Also, "Golden Age of Piracy, but in Space" sounds rad as all get out. Gimme.

AlphynKing

Burnt Neon: Western, but also post-apocalyptic cyberpunk

CTBarrel

Haellan is Classical mythology, but high fantasy

IrkaEwanowicz

"The Last Dragon Rider" WW1/WW2, but with bipedal cheetahs instead of people, dragons and aliens

Katamariguy

The Mediterranean, but on land

OwlsMirror

21st century, but with Chosen Ones as influencers, magic as a drug and humans are by far not the only species

Wyvern72nFa5

**Ardalesh (I finally settled for a name)** Fantastical Late Medieval/EarlyRenaissance/Early Industrial Era, but without humans or the common well-known fantasy species.

Winged_Gunsknecht

Jutland style dreadnought engagements **in space**

MrHiTech123

Mine is the 1850's but with a magical industrial revolution.

[deleted]

victorian england but with magic powers and you get magic powers by playing wheel of fortune with the gods

Crayshack

Modern Earth, but with Urban Fantasy and Gothic Horror tropes casually thrown all over the place and a smattering of Alt-History to fully incorporate them.

Swooper86

I guess you could describe my setting as "[Bronze age] but [with magic and spirits]".

crusadingAquila

**The Halfway Beast:** 1950s London, but mixed with Lovecraft and Agatha Christie, though the main character thinks he's a private detective in a film noir. And is a shape-shifting storm dragon.

OghmaInfinium4E201

Mine is just a mish-mash of different Earth time periods and cultures but the flora and fauna are inspired by their real-world counterparts but **├╝ber** and quirky. Oryx with 5ft horns? Yup. Giant Dewback-inspired Desert Salamanders with spade-shaped tusks? Got those! Baphomet-looking Rams with 6+ pairs of horns? Absolutely! Carnivorous predatory armadillos that leap at their prey before curling into a ball to kill them with their sharp armour plates? Sure. Watching a lot of Speculative Biology, Curious Archive, Biblaridion and Star Wars Wildlife videos are great for inspiration..

DrSlideRule

"The Wonders of the Post War Era, reinvented" 1945 up to 1970s, but with helluva more tubes and nuclear power, basically an AU that touches every major technological/ social/political development of the XX century

Nicophoros4862

**Odatza** The Italian Renaissance, but also the Carolingian Renaissance, and the Warring States Period

jflb96

I have a few alternate histories that are being worked on. For example, *The Bookmaker King* would be '11920s HE, but England and France unified under Henry V, II, and I 500 years before.'

electric-angel

Those legendary places at the edge of the map yet to be discovered but a whole world of them.

Inflatable_Bridge

**Factory Valley** Post apocalypse but with robots instead of people

rabbithawk256

Modern Day, but furries (this time with a competent government)
