Great art! I really hope by the end of the arc hardwon finds his stride again! Would be a shame if Bev and Moonshine were still level 20 demi gods and hardwon was stuck at level 9 for taking a 3 year break :( Love it narratively as a way to get him in the party though! I almost wonder if its both a atrophy and a mental block for him.

i’m sure it’s both, like them saying on the short rest that Hardwon only thinks he’s weak because he can’t tank an ancient dragon by himself after doing absolutely nothing for 3 years, it would definitely be nice to see him get his groove back at the end!
