My progress. Onto my fourth session using the Q-Switch laser, pic on the left was exactly a week after my fourth session! So happy with the results ☺️

Huge amount of fading! Are you only doing the front portion (ie the woman’s face)?

Ok-Salamander-966

Right?! So happy. What do you mean by front portion?

the---albatross

Are you removing all of the ink on your arm? Or just the part where the lines and woman’s face are?

Ok-Salamander-966

Although my fourth session on my arm I also started getting my side tattoo removed but it's large so only done half of it and getting the other half done on my fifth session of my arm! So really I'm getting two sides done and the inner arm. But yes keeping the rest on arm! 😊

Sorry brain wasn't working! No just that particular part of my sleeve, I love the rest. Just absolutely hated that one as soon as I seen it on my skin! Was too dark compared to the rest. But it's my inner arm / bicep area n the rest is covered apart from a lil gap between part of my forearm n elbow so once this one is fully gone I'm gna leave it blank then put something where my elbow is n I'll be done!! 🥰

How did you decide to use this type of laser? I have heard different lasers give different results. It’s coming out great!

Ok-Salamander-966

I done a lot of research for so long about the pico lasers and the Q-switch. I couldn't tell you how many before and after photos I looked at. But it just came down to needing to find out what worked for my skin rather than what worked for others. So I had a patch test done from three different laser technicians. Two being different types of q-switch and one being the pico. And I had little to no fading on my patch test from the pico and literally nearly all ink being left from the small patch test I got from the q-switch which obviously meant it worked better for me! Not to mention the costs between the two lasers are crazy 🤯 one session for the pico on my arm was going to be £350 - so by now it would of cost me £1400. Whereas the four I've gotten with the Q-switch altogether has cost me £340! So a massive difference in price.

Thank you! I appreciate it. I will probably do the same but mine has significant scarring as well which makes it complicated. I’m just lucky my tattoo is very small. I’m in Europe so I hope I cans do the same thing you did.

Ok-Salamander-966

No problem at all! I'm in Scotland and there's quite a few options but they're all at least an hour n a half drive from me but worth it to get something you hate off your body huh?! You're lucky it's small so the price will be a lot less n hopefully less time in the long run for it to be gone. I wish you all the best on your journey tho - one day it'll all be over n it'll just be a memory of what once was!!! 🫶

[deleted]

Yes I hope the same too!! Thank you for such helpful advice. Looks like you’ll be very happy with the end result :)

Ok-Salamander-966

All you need to remember is lasers all do the same thing at the end of the day and all have so many benefits. Just one works better for others and you really need to just try out both rather than reading other peoples progress / opinions on them! You'll have a good idea after a patch test how your skin reacts n they're usually free or very cheap so if you can find both options near you I'd recommend getting patch tested for both ☺️
