*And* she doesn't act like an arrogant "better than you" type while being graceful. What a character. Can't wait to try her out.
Hmm, compared to the other developer matches that made both characters look really strong, this one seems to just be the Cammy show. Manon has some good range and a reversal command grab (?) but that short af drive rush seems to make her get bullied by Cammy's insane walkspeed and drive rush mix.
Idk this showed a couple of really strong things Manon has. Like she has that anti air kick that's fucking massive, and seems like it has several followups to it. Like she can combo into her hitgrab off of it, which levels up her command grab, she can get a full juggle off of it as well. And then she has that target combo that vacuums on hit that sets up a 50/50 strike vs throw mixup on hit, which will get more and more dangerous as the match goes on because the more times she either combos into hit grab or gets you with her command grab, the more damage her command grab does.
I think the issue here is that Cammy has always been an exceptional midrange character, so she maybe didn't have to worry as much about Manon getting in close
I think I just need to see how much damage her lvl 5 command grab does. Cause we already see how strong every other command grab character is (just recently we saw Honda annihilate 60% of an opponents life in seconds from a Drive Impact punish into command grab mix and Lily with a stock has a plus on block advancing special that leaves her in command grab range). It shouldn't be too hard to land just 2-3 command grabs per round and that'll leave you fully powered up by the final round if you didn't win 2-0 already.
Like, clearly SOMETHING about Manon is incredibly strong for them to give her by far the shortest Drive Rush in the game it looks like. It might just be she has some far reaching normals + some vacuum target combos but I'm wondering if it feels like she's gonna have the Jamie problem of building up just to be on the same level as other character's base.
Does anyone know if the custom character will get those crazier moves? Or will they be limited to the more basic stuff? I'd love the idea of having a custom character be able to ballet someone to death.
I'm just worried that the custom character is only gonna get the lesser stuff, but all the super cool looking stuff like that finisher Manon did will be exclusive to the character it comes from.
Stuff like that'll be what decides if I get this game Day 1. Or if it's a , "Meh, one day a few years from now when it's on sale." sorta deal.
Personally I'll wait just a little bit before I decide. Having missed out on the beta, I'm not sure if my PC can run it good alongside the usual "Fighting games can get multiple updates overtime" thing per se.
>!Judging from when I *borrowed the beta*, I may have to wait a bit. Can handle RE4 fine but SF6 is kicking my PC's ass lol!<
Honestly, I think I'd prefer it being more like Soul Caliber in terms of customization. Rather than mixing moves and risking the custom character being lame by not giving them access to the cooler, more animated stuff, just let me pick who's style my character uses and get all of their abilities.
Because like sure...I'll generally buy anything that let's me make a character, I'd be actively turned off if my created character is just straight up worse than the main characters in terms of what they can do thanks to not having access to the cool stuff and only being bale to mix the small stuff.

I love how tall Manon is. She is also nicely filling my need for an Karin kanzuki Ojou-sama type character.
Apparently, it's actually just the fact that Cammy is really short, and Manon is mostly leg.
How tall is Manon compared to Chun Li?
Manon is 5'9". Chun is 5'7".
ah kk. So still seems like the tallest girl sans Marissa.
Indeed. Still, the gap between Cammy & Her is still quite a bit.
Manon is nice and do like her but she ain't filling that role for me so I def hope Karin gets added sometime soon. Still that aside, Manon is kewl.

the first thing i saw on twitter was a slowed down clip of cammy's hard kick where you see her ass jiggle. So ty capcom and twitter

You can get *some* moves from all characters for your create-a-fighter so it's likely you can get some fun ballerina grapple techniques from Manon.

Man, Cammy's "sentai"(?) moves just don't work anymore with the new design.
