Sorry I should have been more specific.
Buy USDT off Binance then transfer the USDT to [Bithumb.pro](https://Bithumb.pro) . Then convert USDT to AKT.
The other official AKT exchangers flat out refuse to serve any trader that's IP location is from United States.
I purchased AKT through them, but they appear to have overcharged me by 50%. I didn't get a transaction confirmation and there is no indication of what I paid. The number of shares showing is way lower than it should be. I'm having a lot of difficulty getting my AKT out of Bithumb. They are extremely difficult to work with. Just want to be out and done with them!
Maybe, I have yet to withdrawal AKT... I've been focusing on staking and re-investing. But you're right, I should confirm the ability to withdrawal.
EDIT\* I bought USDT on coinbase, deposited USDT from coinbase to bitmart, bought AKT using the USDT, and then transferred AKT to my cosmos wallet.
I have not sold or withdrew any from my cosmos wallet yet.
I would assume you could stop delegating and wait the 21 day period\*\*, withdrawal to bitmart and sell for USDC/USDT, then transfer to your coinbase (or whatever wallet) to your bank.
this is my interpretation \*\* feel free to correct me if I'm wrong
I have bought akt from bitmart and sent to cosmostation then staked with forbole. Very easy once it's setup.

You could probably use a VPN to get around the US residency issue. I’m actually gonna try and see if I can deposit some ETH onto Gate.io and exchange it for AKT. Just wish I knew of more options for wallets to store it.
BitMart
Yup bitmart except you can't withdrawl akt from them. They are probably hoarding the stake rewards
Was just going to look into it but you saved my time.
[https://www.bithumb.pro/](https://www.bithumb.pro/) its Korean based exchangers but they accept US residents (at least thats my personal experience)
I was not able to purchase crypto there and I'm from the US

Bitmart as far as i know serves US citizens.
Any luck?
bitmart... transfer usdt from coinbase/binanceus to bitmart and then you can buy AKT
thats exactly how I did it. Then I stake in cosmos wallet
So you are able to send the AKASH from bitmart to keplr? People were saying you can't withdraw the AKASH.
