I get being mad during the game, I have been mad at DLo or AD or other players at various points during the season. But being mad and slandering players after the game and even the season is over like this is just L support as a fan. I get that it stings but the energy should be directed towards being hype for next season, not hating constantly. Its ok, we got outplayed by a better team.
I hope we keep a big portion of this roster. Nuggets are a great team but you can tell their continuity was the biggest difference maker. They were a well oiled machine. Ham rookie coach, and a lot of our guys have never been in the playoffs or deep in the playoffs, along with the fact that our guys had 2 months to learn everything on the fly while Lebron literally missed about a month of that time to rehab his foot. In the end, imo the fact we never had an opportunity to integrate a guy like Bamba, or even TT, and a lot of the other new guys never got 82 games to carve out a defined role and master the playbook is something that I look forward to seeing in the next season. Sure tweaks to the roster may be necessary but we are not far away from the promised land.
Also, ownership finally got some playoff gate. Hopefully, that encourages some spending. Hard to want to spend on a team that doesn't make the postseason.
Hopefully Bron doesn't retire yet. He still has so much left in the tank, I just can't see him retiring now. Unless he really got sick and tired of the game. He can easily still contend for a title for another 2 years at least if he has the right roster.
Drummond has been bad with the Lakers and even worse with the Bulls. I still get mad when I think that lakers gave him the starting spot over Gasol, who was playing well.
People still look at his stats and think "oh, he can grab boards and shit, we need him" but the problem is that we're talking about a low IQ player with ugly touch and grip who plays with little energy.
Ayton but without the offensive talent.
Some of y’all are crazy man. There’s a reason it’s 0-149 when teams are down 0-3. I’m sorry but no way does Jimmy butler or coach Spo let the heat lose this.
There's a chance as gabe vincent suffered a very nasty ankle roll earlier. He was the celtics killer back in game 2 and 3. It only takes one key injury for a team to blow a 3-0 lead..
We drafted julius randle over nikola jokic in the 2014 nba draft. Then randle immediately suffered a season ending broken leg injury during the first game of the regular season.
Stephen a smith particularly saying "jordan never got swept in a 7 game series" was so dumb. He had to replace the word playoffs with "7 game series" because jordan got swept two times but the playoffs were only best of 5 before in the first round. So he had to try so hard to spin the narrative XD
I like the trashtalking thats going on between the players of heat and celtics. "Don't let us get one" - jaylen brown. Hahaha then jimmy butler's IG posts.
Nets did good enough to stay outside of the play-in while being in a stronger conference. They going to get a lot of calls for their wings this offseason.
If you hate the celtics, you can root for them coming back from a 0-3 deficit, only to get swept by the nuggets in the finals. All their effort and sweat coming back from a 0-3 deficit will just be wasted hehe
The heat are screwed if they lose game 5. Gabe vincent suffered a very nasty ankle roll earlier. All the pressure and nervousness in the world on their shoulders. XD
I just looked at team salaries, D'Angelo Russell ($31.3mil) makes more money than Jason Tatum ($30.3mil).And Tatum is the highest paid Celtic player and is so much better than Russell.
Next year the Lakers will pay Lebron $53.4mil and Anthony Davis $40.6mil, that's $94mil wrapped up in just two players.
Nope, Tatum will make $34.8 in 2024-2025, and Brown isn't signed beyond the 2023-2024 season when he will make $30.7mil.
Both Tatum and Brown are far better than D'Angelo Russell on both ends of the court.
>Next year the Lakers will pay Lebron $53.4mil and Anthony Davis $40.6mil, that's $94mil wrapped up in just two players.
I always thought that's one of the reasons the team's ability to add quality players via FA are limited. Sure these two deserve it, but some wouldn't admit that. We saw what happened last 2 offseasons.
I personally don't think Anthony Davis is worth $40.6mil, but it's not coming out of my pocket.
Who knows where Lebron will be next season after his surgery, same with Davis.
No offense, but you’re just now realizing our financial situation? This is why we have been in a rut the past couple of seasons. We’re extremely top heavy financially.
Do you use, "No offense" everytime you intend to offend someone?
I brought it up as a topic for discussion, so if you incapable of civil discussion, go troll somewhere else.
Lol a loss is a loss guys. Yeah it would’ve been better had we not gotten swept, but it is what it is. Who cares if we got 2 games or 1 game. We didn’t win the chip. We stopped the bitch ass larriors who were the defending champs and a damn good grizzlies team.
Had we not had to accumulate so much fatigue from being in the hole the whole season, maybe we wouldn’t have ran out of gas. We needed the roster we had from the very beginning of the season.
Then, maybe we would’ve had home court in some series and not feel so much pressure knowing that one of the first two road games and all our home games were pretty much must win.
Don't worry about the Celtics fan and Lakers Hater, Laker Nation. We looking forwars to next season. Let them hate. It already happened even if the team fought hard and as mjch as they want to win the series, its just so bad. So, we look forward to future. All those hate gonna past.
People getting worked up over the optics of being swept vs not swept. Meanwhile idc as long as Boston doesn't win it all lol. Even if they miraculously beat the Heat and push the Nuggets to 7...An L is an L. Fuck moral victories. I'd be shocked if the Nuggets aren't champs though
I’m worried a tiny bit for the heat. The difference between our situation and theirs is that Celtics have home court. If Celtics somehow get game 5, that could become very concerning for the heat. Hopefully they just beat the breaks off the celtricks game 5
Yes and gabe vincent suffered a very nasty ankle roll earlier. I can see the celtics giving the heat the scare of their lifetimes by winning game 5 as well. Kinda like when 76ers fans were almost dying of nervousness last year when they just couldnt close out the raptors. 3-0 went to 3-2 and raps were leading up to 3rd quarter of game 6 until they got exhausted. Was so funny to watch 76ers fans fainting of nervousness XD
Haha I do remember that. I believe in clutch jimmy tho. Don’t think he’ll let the heat lose this series. Could very well dominate and close out the celtricks in game 5
Idk why you guys care so much about the Celtics getting swept, they’re still going to lose the series to the 8th seed. Celtics getting swept wouldn’t make me feel any better about the Lakers losing.
It DID make a lot of people in here feel better though, clearly. I think people in here are going to be more upset about the Celtics winning than the Lakers losing, and no I am not kidding.
Yeah denver is gonna take it. Plus they're getting rest and I believe will have home court advantage unless Boston wins. Which to be honest I highly doubt they'll pull off.
Yep. NBA is an embarrassingly simple minded league now. “Hey guys, just fire a bunch of threepointers. If we make them, we win big. If we don’t, we get destroyed. Sounds like a plan!”
I have a feeling that the “peace” we felt after getting swept was contingent on the Celtics losing as well. I think you are going to see a more angry Lakers fanbase tomorrow morning than you did this morning if the Celtics win and send it back to Boston.
Why are the heat starters still in the game? Its garbage time already and they are up 3-0. Gabe vincent with a nasty ankle roll. Spo should pull out his starters avoid risking more injuries..
Cope more, Suns and Wolves took a game off the Nuggets.
Lakers fans don’t have want to admit that they would be the only team to get swept this playoffs.
Miami doesn’t have a roster advantage over Boston. They just mentally were stronger. Denver fundamentally had an advantage with their size over our guard-heavy team. They also were more motivated, energetic, and had some lucky shots. In theory, it should be easier for Boston to beat Miami than it was for us to beat Denver.
They won't, at least they have their moral victory for not getting swept but man, heat already beat them at home twice... doesn't look good at all for the celtics. Heat know it's possible.
For the last 5 minutes of the game Jokic had 5 fouls. HOW THE FUCK DO YOU NOT GIVE THE BALL TO AD ONCE, ONCE!! AND LET HIM GO AT JOKIC. I COULDN’T BELIEVE IT HONESTLY I WAS SHOCKED
I think we should trade for Buddy Hield, Split the MLE in half and sign a PG and a Center.
New Roster:
Lebron
AD
Rui
Reaves
Hield
(PG)
(C)
Vet Min
Max Christie
Tristan Thompson
Maybe Lonnie if he takes a small 7.8 mil contract
What the…. https://www.reddit.com/r/TikTokCringe/comments/13pt3zi/impressive_but_not_sure_its_acceptable/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=1&utm_term=1
Playoffs are a different beast which is why I was trying to see his stats lol. So many people in here bitching we didn't get him but man has never played a second of playoff ball.
You need 5 guys and randoms off the bench to win a chip
Kyrie
Reaves
Rui
Lebron
Ad
Can do it, I’d gamble it all if this was possible. We lost to Denver because we do not have a go to shot maker outside of the paint that can create.
Kyrie is him, this makes lebron the 4th option on certain nights
Even Celtics fans on their reddit are praising LeBron's last performance of the season. They wanna see that same fight in JB and JT, but don't think they'll deliver like he did. Crazy.
No one has haters if they suck. The fact that people aren't regarding a WCF as a success for LeBron at this age is a testament to his current greatness. If he wasn't still a threat to win chips, no one would bother hating.
I'm not trying to take shots, but early 2000s is when I started watching and no one was hating on MJ. He was just there.
It’s actually kind of sad how obsessed Enes is with LeBron. It used to annoy me and now it’s just comical. Dude probably has a crush on him lol.
Sochan plays for an irrelevant team right now so his opinion doesn’t mean a damn thing either😂😂😂
I honestly think we would have gone all the way if we did the buddy and turner trade start of the season. Dlo vando and Beasley ended up being unplayable. Imagine having turner and buddy out there, and a full season to build chemistry. It wouldnt stop us doing the Rui deal either. I'm sure AD and Bron would be more rested as well with those guys on the team
Buddy heild is just a more expensive Beasley and vandos defense is a large part of the reason we made the play ins and beat the grizz. Dlo also provided much needed guard depth for awhile even if he ultimately was awful in the playoffs.
Buddy is alot more playable when u can pair him with a defensive big like turner who can also space the floor. Imagine the floor space for AD and Bron. Vando was decent but the way he was utilised and his offense limitations ended up hurting the lakers at times. Dlo had some good games but he ended up hurting us more than not with his inconsistency and lack of d
Buddy sucks dude. He would be just as bad as dlo or Beasley. AD had the most dominant defensive run maybe of all time the first two rounds and he still couldn’t cover them and you think Myles turner would make a difference that AD couldn’t?
In the end you’re advocating for removing all depth, versatility including our best wing and guard defender for a Beasley/dlo clone and a guy who is redundant with AD and plays the same position lol
those two don’t magically make lebrons foot not fucked and that’s why we lost ultimately. He was clearly hobbled and unable to consistently take over. We lost 3 games that came down to the wire and a large part of it is because of lebrons health. Fully healthy there’s a very high chance we currently have a 3-1 lead over Denver.
And what great wing did we play that we needed vando for? Dennis was way bigger for us than vando ever was this run. We played two elite guards. Vando is trivialised by running him off screens, he's good against ball heavy wings like Ingram or even luka.
Why does that trade remove depth? As noted, vando Beasley and dlo ended up being unplayable.
You are also seriously underestimating the impact of the work the team had to put in to recover from 3/4 of a season of vampire Westbrook. A big reason bron is hobbled is because he had to push hard with AD out to keep the team afloat. How would having turner not help that? It allows ad to play the four more and bang alot less. No Westbrook starting the season means more rest and a chance for ppl to actually get more healthy going into the playoffs (rather than every game being a must win to make the playin), which as you said, is the main thing for this team (Bron and Ad's health).
Unless he wants to trade Reaves or rui (or both), there’s really not much upgrading to be done. We can make some lateral moves with Beasley and bambas contracts to fill out the edges of the roster and we have been hitting home runs with the mle signings the last two years.
So either he accepts the team that made the wcfs is good enough with a bit of retooling or he can go retire lol we can’t get kyrie without getting rid of half the roster and hard capping ourselves and we don’t have cap or assets to sign any top tier free agents or stars
Every team sub has post about us losing, constantly brigaded the post game threads and daily threads to talk shit, a ton of front page post all about us losing and being swept.
Now today: wHy DoEs tHe MeDiA kEeP tAlKiNg AbOuT tHe LaKeRs!?!?!?!?
Maybe because they know those idiots are obsessed with us more so then their own teams. They hate us more than they love their own teams.
Still a crazy run for us. Imagine what we can do with a full training camp and season chemistry. We were playing with our backs against the wall the entire season and playoffs. That leads to a bunch of physical and mental wear and tear. We ran out of gas. It’s amazing we won those 2 series as a 7 seed. If we had this roster from the start of the season, we would’ve been a top 4 seed with home court advantage. Much more resting and coasting for bron and AD.
Facing the Warriors was much more stressful compared to the Nuggets, and Denver swept the lakers.
Before the start of the WCF I wrote that it was going to be kinda weird for me to root against Jokic because after Lebron, Jokic and Luka are my favourite players.
Watching Warriors win would've been 100% more painful. Not even close. Suns too with that punchable face of Booker, terrible the idea of watching them winning the chip.
Nah, Jokic always been all about business. He was fair, never talked shit to anyone (and he's now the one who could talk shit to everyone if he wanted).
Nuggets had just coach Malone and Brown being annoying but overall they were ok.
Clippers out, Warriors out, Suns out and Celtics close to be out too. Could've had been much, much worse.
I think one of the reasons we lost to Denver is because we ran out of steam. Their playoffs started when the playoffs started. Lakers been playing playoff intensity basketball just to make it into the playins. So make sense that Denver was more rested and were hitting shots regularly. We was average like 40% from three in the last 15 games of the season I think.
Nuggets had clearly a better conditioning, but they showed a better conditioning also against the Wolves and the Suns. They run all the time and can sustian that fast pace like nothing.
Against the lakers, despite the sweep, every game came close at the end and they made clutch plays, Lakers didn't, also because they tried to emulate what Denver was doing with their outside shooters. Lakers tried that without having as many good shooters, and AD and Lebron on the floor.
That's also a coaching mistake because Malone didn't had much counters to Lebron and AD playing each other in order to attack the paint. But Lakers took too many 3's without having reliable shooters.
Denver has the main core playing together since a while now, same coach etc. That's a big factor because at some point all the new guys were able to be assimilated in their system effortlessly.
The Lakers had the current rotation who barely played together.
AD and Lebron have been a duo since 2019 but they played little together in last 2 seasons. The rest of the roster changed costantly, they got a new coach and only at the end of the season they found something that could work.
This team needs 1-2 additions and play a whole season together, injury free. They can be really good. No fucking doubts about it.
Nuggets could be the next dynasty team like the Warriors, or maybe were entering an era of parity where there is no dynasties. Seems like two stars and solid role players is the way to go now.
I don’t see the nuggets being a dynasty. We got so far in part because the west was a mess besides the Nuggets. They are a very good team but not unbeatable.
Ummm, to injured stars that were exhausted playing with almost a completely new supporting cast. They really should have blown us out all four games if they were a dynasty. They also lost 2 games to Phoenix without CP3 for most of the series who made a trade midseason. Not really the most impressive run by a burgeoning dynasty.
I’d rather not have any of the rockets shit shot young core. They’re uncoachable, selfish, and play zero defense. They’re getting into fights on and off the court and have tons of issues
That’s a result of bad coaching - KPJ showed great improvement when it came to maturity this season. He literally went an entire season being forced to play out-of-position. I think with our coaching - we can unlock the promise he has. Regardless, he’s 23, a shot-maker. and athletic enough to improve on defense. I’d trade DLO for him in a heartbeat.
I think as things are revealed in the postmortem to this season we will find out that we were extremely lucky to get AD and LBJ as much as we did.
I think their injuries were bothering them both way more than they let on and AD was probably tired of getting shit on considering his condition.
He can’t shoot threes anymore he should play the 5 but they should grab an olynk ( or olynk Pelinka you idiot ) for someone to bang down low and who can shoot n space floor so AD is the 5 on offence still but 5/4 on defence , olynk fir banging and AD overall help sbd paint
Anthony Davis is now getting the Westbrook treatment by r/lakers it’s hilarious. At least with Russ it was justified because his style of play cost us our season last yr, but champion Anthony Davis??
“AD statpadding this playoffs so his numbers are meaningless”
Yes. Averaging 3-4 blocks, 2 steals, and 20+ points 12 rebounds on great efficiency in the playoffs are “empty stats” by many. Even game 1 vs the Nuggets where he scored 40 was negligible…
As in - take those numbers and impact out of the Grizzlies and Warriors series and the Lakers still win their games.
r/lakers is going full on “Trade AD to extend LeBron’s final years”
How exactly do the Lakers defeat teams without one of the best defensive players in the game? Sure more offense is needed but you still need your defensive anchor
Do you think these types of players just grow on trees? I don’t think LeBron can play that caliber defense as he gets older either…
Saw AD for Kyrie trending, and its making me wonder if anyone on NBA twitter actually watches basketball
There’s no way GTJ is younger than reaves
not really possible, but it would be neat if BI were still on this team
red sox and celts come back down 3-0 WOW boston is BOSS TOWN
Got to bring back Reaves, Rui, Dennis
I get being mad during the game, I have been mad at DLo or AD or other players at various points during the season. Really hoping the Lakers don't cut players for tax reasons. That's my fear for this upcoming offseason.
Yeah, we went WCF. There’s no way we can improve by being cheaper
Also, ownership finally got some playoff gate. Hopefully, that encourages some spending. Hard to want to spend on a team that doesn't make the postseason.
Damn. Kobe passing and Bron retiring soon. That’s 20+ years of my favorite hobby for me. I don’t know how I’ll manage this shit.
Hopefully Bron doesn't retire yet. He still has so much left in the tank, I just can't see him retiring now. Unless he really got sick and tired of the game. He can easily still contend for a title for another 2 years at least if he has the right roster.
Bron with the retirement talks got me feeling very down lately tbh.

A word that JorGamblingAddiction and CurCan'tBeatBronwithoutKD fans hate to hear (especially about rings) and only use when it's convenient: CONTEXT
Never seen an 8th seed grilled so hard for not sweeping a 1st seed lol
2nd seed
Some of y’all are crazy man. There’s a reason it’s 0-149 when teams are down 0-3. I’m sorry but no way does Jimmy butler or coach Spo let the heat lose this.

lol cmon the entire league drafted players over jokic, he was in the 2nd round
fr, even the Nuggets drafted some other player in the first round before him lmao
I could see heat choking
basketball discourse is beyond cooked. “jordan would never ____” “jordan never ____”
Stephen a smith particularly saying "jordan never got swept in a 7 game series" was so dumb. He had to replace the word playoffs with "7 game series" because jordan got swept two times but the playoffs were only best of 5 before in the first round. So he had to try so hard to spin the narrative XD
it’s funny how they hold lebron to a higher standard but then claim he’s not close to the goat lmao
I like the trashtalking thats going on between the players of heat and celtics. "Don't let us get one" - jaylen brown. Hahaha then jimmy butler's IG posts.
Lakers being the only team swept out of the playoffs :(
Well, it's very possible that another team will be joining the club come Finals time.
I don’t count the Nets since they were free falling after their blockbuster trades. Even the sorry-ass Timberwolves took one off Denver.
Nets did good enough to stay outside of the play-in while being in a stronger conference. They going to get a lot of calls for their wings this offseason.
It definitely counts
Nets got swept also
True, forgot they existed for a second
I swear if the Heat choke this series... Jimmy definitely ain't Michael's offspring.
If you hate the celtics, you can root for them coming back from a 0-3 deficit, only to get swept by the nuggets in the finals. All their effort and sweat coming back from a 0-3 deficit will just be wasted hehe

you know what i meant. contracts are all going up. AD's deal is fine in the context of the next wave of contract extensions
Jokić signed ia 5-year deal in 2022 and made $33mil this season compared to Davis' $38mil... That's a bargain for Denver
>Next year the Lakers will pay Lebron $53.4mil and Anthony Davis $40.6mil, that's $94mil wrapped up in just two players. Celtics not getting swept low key ruined my night.
At least Celtics fans have a chance to boo their team next game at home.

I’m worried a tiny bit for the heat. The difference between our situation and theirs is that Celtics have home court. If Celtics somehow get game 5, that could become very concerning for the heat. Hopefully they just beat the breaks off the celtricks game 5
Another difference: even though they are down 3-1, they will be favored to win every game from here on out. We were never favored against the Nuggets.
Heat probably won’t be favored for any game in Boston though. We were favored in our home games
We were favored to win both of our home games though
Are you serious?
I mean a quick google search for game 3 and game 4 both show that the Lakers were the favorites for those games. So yea I guess I’m pretty serious
I’ll be damned. I would’ve never thought.
Yes and gabe vincent suffered a very nasty ankle roll earlier. I can see the celtics giving the heat the scare of their lifetimes by winning game 5 as well. Yeah denver is gonna take it. Plus they're getting rest and I believe will have home court advantage unless Boston wins. Which to be honest I highly doubt they'll pull off.
Aw Man. Celtics fans gonna have a field day on us after this game. Please heat just go 6/6 on 3pts right now
Nuggets are simply the best team in the league. We coulda beat the Celtics or the heat easily.
Honestly should have lost to the Warriors in the second round in 7 games. Only franchise to be swept this year, embarrassing.
The 76ers swept the Nets
Dude, how big of a fucking loser can you be?
Nets
What a stupid comment
We got lucky Klay is completely washed. He got so many open 3s.
Ultimate Laker haters eating their food right now
Welp, I guess it's just the Lakers getting swept this round.
Even the twolves managed to win 1 game against denver. This is embarrassing..
Entire playoffs as I read below
Nets got swept
That's what I get for trusting someone on Reddit
It never hurts doing a quick Google search
It's all about the 3pt shot. Heat guys stopped shooting like Curry that's why they're getting smoked.
Yep. NBA is an embarrassingly simple minded league now. “Hey guys, just fire a bunch of threepointers. If we make them, we win big. If we don’t, we get destroyed. Sounds like a plan!”

Magic johnsons tweet saying the celtics quit backfired. We are the only ones who got embarrassingly swept.
Next game is in Boston, right?
no sweep lmao
I feel bad. We're the only one who got swept..
I'm gonna be sick.
Spoelstra calls a timeout after a 4-0 Celtics run Ham calls a timeout after the other team is on a 15-0 run
Spo let a Celtics 16-0 run before calling timeout
Miami went on like a +20 run in game 2 and Boston's coach didn't call a single timeout outside the mandatory one lol
Even if the Celtics get one, their losing to the 8th seed is 10000x worse than the lakers getting swept
Cope more, Suns and Wolves took a game off the Nuggets. Lakers fans don’t have want to admit that they would be the only team to get swept this playoffs.
Lmaooo
Damn the entire playoffs lol didn't realize that.
Celtics have two games at home now potentially. The Heat are in trouble.
A little early to say that, but they certainly have left the door open.
Are they doing that dumb midseason tournament next season?
Come on miami please close this out
Celtics all of a sudden can't miss from three, and Miami can't hit a thing...Wonder where I've seen that before.
Miami doesn’t have a roster advantage over Boston. They just mentally were stronger. Denver fundamentally had an advantage with their size over our guard-heavy team. They also were more motivated, energetic, and had some lucky shots. In theory, it should be easier for Boston to beat Miami than it was for us to beat Denver.
lol good cope…I’m upset about this celtics shit too
It’s not a cope, the Celtics are legit a better team that underplayed expectations. We were a worse team punching up every game.
Jeez - Heat went from up 10 to down 8 in just a few minutes.
The Celtics coming back from 0-3 is gonna be the perfect icing on our shit cake
They won't, at least they have their moral victory for not getting swept but man, heat already beat them at home twice... doesn't look good at all for the celtics. Heat know it's possible.
Of course the Celtics are gonna win 🤬
If Boston doesn’t trade one of the Jays, they aren’t serious about competing anymore.
New Roster: Lebron AD Rui Reaves Hield (PG) (C) Vet Min Max Christie Tristan Thompson Maybe Lonnie if he takes a small 7.8 mil contract
What the…. https://www.reddit.com/r/TikTokCringe/comments/13pt3zi/impressive_but_not_sure_its_acceptable/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=1&utm_term=1
TIL Buddy Hield has never played a playoff game.
Nope. He was going to somehow lead us to 5 straight titles if we got him though “because LeBron” or some nonsense /s
Playoffs are a different beast which is why I was trying to see his stats lol. So many people in here bitching we didn't get him but man has never played a second of playoff ball.
You need 5 guys and randoms off the bench to win a chip Kyrie Reaves Rui Lebron Ad Can do it, I’d gamble it all if this was possible. We lost to Denver because we do not have a go to shot maker outside of the paint that can create. Kyrie is him, this makes lebron the 4th option on certain nights

So so so so dumb if it happens
Tbh after this series I think we need a center who can stretch the floor. AD plays his best when he can roam on D and still have energy for offence.
Dlo for CP3.
What's the difference between the summer and CP3? With the summer, you get a full season out of it.
Lol no
Why do people continue to want old ass veterans that are injury prone?
And are playoff chokers

Jeremy shinchan.. lol who even is this bum?!?!?
Even Celtics fans on their reddit are praising LeBron's last performance of the season. They wanna see that same fight in JB and JT, but don't think they'll deliver like he did. Crazy.
No one has haters if they suck. The fact that people aren't regarding a WCF as a success for LeBron at this age is a testament to his current greatness. If he wasn't still a threat to win chips, no one would bother hating. I'm not trying to take shots, but early 2000s is when I started watching and no one was hating on MJ. He was just there.
lol i forgot about penis cancer
It’s actually kind of sad how obsessed Enes is with LeBron. It used to annoy me and now it’s just comical. Dude probably has a crush on him lol. Sochan plays for an irrelevant team right now so his opinion doesn’t mean a damn thing either😂😂😂
I don't think LeBron cares about two bums no one is going to remember.
Man a little over a week ago we thought we were getting a chip, now got swept, and bron talking retirement. Life comes at you fucking fast.
Completely agree
In the end you’re advocating for removing all depth, versatility including our best wing and guard defender for a Beasley/dlo clone and a guy who is redundant with AD and plays the same position lol those two don’t magically make lebrons foot not fucked and that’s why we lost ultimately.
From what I got from lebron’s presser, he either wants to retire or leave the lakers. Or it’s a ploy to pressure rob into making some roster upgrades.
Looks like the Suns Nuggets was the real finals
True
Still a crazy run for us. Imagine what we can do with a full training camp and season chemistry. We were playing with our backs against the wall the entire season and playoffs. That leads to a bunch of physical and mental wear and tear. We ran out of gas. It’s amazing we won those 2 series as a 7 seed. If we had this roster from the start of the season, we would’ve been a top 4 seed with home court advantage. Much more resting and coasting for bron and AD.
Shit could’ve been worse. We could’ve lost to the warriors and steph ended up w 5 rings. Jokic or butler are both worthy of a chip.
Yup. This roster is championship caliber. We just needed it from the start of the season
True. We came close 4 times lol
DLO for KPJ - who says no? Houston needs a PG, and KPJ will be gone if Harden goes there. We need a solid 6th man like him.
I wonder if thats just poor coaching or the personalities of the players themselves

“AD statpadding this playoffs so his numbers are meaningless” Yes. Averaging 3-4 blocks, 2 steals, and 20+ points 12 rebounds on great efficiency in the playoffs are “empty stats” by many. Even game 1 vs the Nuggets where he scored 40 was negligible… As in - take those numbers and impact out of the Grizzlies and Warriors series and the Lakers still win their games.
I hate that Jokic had 5 fouls in the 4th quarter and was never challenged in the paint.
he did foul AD on the dunk, but refs weren't going to call that or anything. But yes should have made him work.
r/lakers is going full on “Trade AD to extend LeBron’s final years” How exactly do the Lakers defeat teams without one of the best defensive players in the game? Sure more offense is needed but you still need your defensive anchor Do you think these types of players just grow on trees? I don’t think LeBron can play that caliber defense as he gets older either…
