Do Iberians look closer to Scandinavians or to borderline European populations?

Iberians don’t look as northern as their dna suggests they are.
What does their DNA suggest? I don't know much about Iberian genetics.
That they’re basically like southern French with up to 1/8 North African ancestry, higher in western Iberia .
Like they’re more Northern shifted than Northern Italians, yet the latter arguably look lighter.
Exactly. Northern Italians look like French, southern Germans, Swiss and so on but genetically they are south of Iberians.
I do think the Spanish, at least a large part of Spain looks also similar to France and to some extent Britain and Ireland BUT I think this look is rarer in the Portuguese who look much more “Mediterranean” and sometimes even North African.
It’s just a matter of environment I guess.
I do often guess Spanish people as something more northern when they’re posted on this forum but I am very familiar with how Portuguese people look and do not make the same mistake for them.
While the Spanish/Portuguese are not as light as Northern Italians, it doesn’t mean that they’re not as western shifted in terms of features. If anything, I’d say Iberians are slightly more western shifted if we’re just purely talking about facial features. Iberians have a distinct SW European vibe that makes it easy to tell them apart from other Southern Europeans(not just Southern Italians or Aegean Islanders) at times. Like Rafa Nadal for example.
I agree with that actually.
I don’t think any look that northern lol more so east Mediterranean out of those, but they are probably a bit lighter
