Protected ranking doesn't give a seeding, it just allows you to enter into a tournament.

I believe that zverev would still be seeded, as he is ranked 12 now. To be seeded at slams he would need to be in the top 30 where the 30th rank is 1300 points below him, so he would likely be seeded in the cilic-coric range for most slams.

I kinda really think that Fritzy has a chance at beating Djovak today, he’s fresher, more persistent and doesn’t have much of a mental block like Tsitsipas. Anyone else think so too?
